  1. Politics is what UT does best when it comes to making big decisions. I agree that they should absolutely give Terry a long term contract though.
  2. I’m just an accountant that has reasonable expectations for Lamar athletics. Their wins make me happy, but unlike you, I don’t let their losses completely eat me up to the point that I need to post dissertations on a message board.
  3. 3 paragraph post for a 5-2 loss, and only 2 sentences for a 4-2 win the day before. Nobody hates like you.
  4. Knowing Texas, there’s probably several influential boosters that are pushing to hire a big name coach. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if they didn’t keep Terry.
  5. Xavier getting frustrated and playing dirty
  6. He’s very annoying, but his footwork on offense is impeccable
  7. Thank you - expecting a bunch of 19-22 year olds at the low-D1 level to consistently play perfect baseball over the course of 50+ games is asinine.
  8. Lamar would make it to Omaha every summer if they'd just pony up enough cash to hire you to run the program.
  9. I had Memphis, Duke, Kentucky, and Marquette in the East Sweet 16. Whoops
  10. Need TCU and Indiana to win tonight for my West and Midwest region picks to be perfect for the Sweet 16.
  11. If Creighton wins them and Bama would be my only Sweet 16 picks alive in the South and East regions lol. That side of my bracket is in complete shambles.
  12. College refs have been terrible the past several seasons
  13. I’m not doing too bad so far beside picking Arizona as the champ lol. Had Purdue losing to Memphis in the round of 32
  14. I do not know, I just stated that they've rubbed a lot of folks the wrong way since they first came on the scene. Didn't know we had any FF defenders on the board lol
  15. Plenty of people were (rightfully) upset after their other two titles.
  16. I was there too for the UNC/Baylor and Kansas/Creighton games. That was an extremely nice arena.
  17. It absolutely would matter if the parents lied about what the coach did, but in this case there is clear evidence of his wrongdoings. Please enlighten us on the situation around the kids so we can better understand your argument. I guarantee you those other parents would also be up in arms if their kids had to be hospitalized, just as I'm sure you would be if a coach put your kid in the hospital.
  18. Doesn't matter if they did 168 push-ups, 268 push-up, or 368 push-ups. The kids had to stay in the hospital for 10+ days because Coach Harrell took the punishment too far.
  19. I do not know the strength & conditioning levels of hs kids these days, but whether or not they actually did that specific amount of push-ups is besides the point. The point is that kids had to be hospitalized for 10+ days because the coach made them do more reps than their bodies could physically handle.
  20. Common sense tells me that the 15 year-olds that were hospitalized were probably not as strong and physically developed as the 16-17 year-olds doing the workout. Being a coach, you should know that not every kid has the exact same physiological makeup as the next, especially when looking at different age groups.
