I’m on the underdogs and point total Overs today. Rose Bowl: Bama +2; Over 45.5 Sugar Bowl: Washington +4.5; Over 63.5 I don’t feel great about the Bama bet. Seems like everyone is on them, but the line has either stayed at 2 or moved more towards Michigan at 2.5. I felt certain that Bama would close as the favorite when the line was originally posted.

There’s been chatter of him leaving for Michigan if Harbaugh goes back to the NFL.
-
My only non-playoff bet today is Oregon -17. Hopefully their defense wakes up after that first drive.
-
I could be wrong here but I don’t think Vander Esch has been good for a few seasons.
-
Yeah their LBs wouldn’t be starting on many other teams in the league. I think the secondary has been pretty decent considering the guys they have playing.
-
Good post idiot. Cowboys can now win the East and get a 1st round home game with a win against Washington next week. Huge thanks to the Cardinals for beating Philly
-
Sure. What schemes should they have ran to yield better defensive results this season? I’ll agree that playing soft prevent coverage at the end against Detroit and Miami was a bad call, as it usually is for any defense.
-
ESPN definitely isn’t what it used to be, but I’m very glad Schefter has been calling out how bad the refs have been across the board this season. They need more accountability.

No one is talking about how the game probably would’ve been over before that if not for the phantom tripping penalty they called on Hendershot on Dallas’s previous drive that sent them back to a 1st and 25 around the 45 yard line. The tape clearly showed Hutchinson sticking his leg out to try and trip Pollard as he ran by, but the penalty somehow got called on Dallas. Calling that correctly would’ve set Dallas up with a 1st down around the 15 yard line. Oh well
-
So you’re basing your whole generalization that the defense is terrible on 2 out of 20 defensive drives (10%) over the course of those games. Got it.
-
We must be watching different games. The defense held Detroit and Miami to well-below their season scoring averages.
-
Fat Mike tries his best to lose this one for the Cowboys. Better to be lucky than good sometimes.
-
Yeah you would think that they would’ve stuck around and try to prove that they belonged against Georgia. Not a great look especially considering what just happened.
-
Got lucky yesterday with OSU’s qb injury, bowl record is now 10-8. Today’s plays are: Ole Miss +4 Georgia -14 Wyoming -3
-
Boosters are gonna have to start giving out NIL bonuses to get guys to play in these bowls. Minnesota’s boosters had to pony up $30k to get their qb to play against Bowling Green on Tuesday.
-
My only play today is Mizzou -2 in the Cotton Bowl. Got it at a terrible number because the line is now Ohio State -5. Looks like a bunch of potential Buckeye opt-outs are gonna end up playing tonight. Oh well.
-
My guess is it’s mostly because OU will be starting a true freshman qb since Gabriel hit the portal.
-
7-6 in bowl bets so far. Today’s plays are Rutgers +1.5 NC State +3.5 Arizona/Oklahoma Over 62.5 Arizona -3
-
My plays for tonight (placed these wagers a couple weeks ago): West Virginia -6.5 Louisville -7.5 Okie Lite +2.5 I’m a steady 5-5 so far this bowl season.
-
Pretty much locked in to the 5th seed no matter how the last 2 games go.

I agree that there are way too many idiots that make the Cowboys fanbase look bad, but I think pretty much all of us on this board are decently realistic and level-headed. I'm generally pessimistic about the Cowboys, so I honestly don't think they'll be able to put together a 4 game stretch in the playoffs where Big Mike coaches well enough and Dak plays well enough to win a Super Bowl. BTW, using your logic, I think we can label every team in the league as a "fraud" if we're comparing them to a healthy 49ers team.
-
Sunday's game against the Dolphins is definitely the Fraud Bowl, and Miami is favored by 1.5 points. Winter weather and a hostile crowd won't be an issue for the Cowboys this week luckily with the game being in Miami.
