I think PNG is still playing football too. Coach Smith does a really good job. He comes from the Brian English coaching tree.

Wilson will get the Cougars turned around. My cousin lives up that way and the community loves what he's got going with the program.

I didn't bash anyone, but it's easy to root against the school who tries to recruit from all over the area and brags about how great they are. You're way off. Lcm has one good year in its history last year and suddenly you guys are a powerhouse? You are 3-3. No vidor fans have acted like fools on here and why would they? They always beat lcm.

We heard all fall how great lcm is. I look up and they are 3-3 with the three wins against teams who are a combined 3-16. Morris is the best football player in the district and yall have a big 12 defensive end. Hard to blame lack of talent.

Maybe it was a sophisticated a passing game and I'm too ignorant to see it. I still say Legacy is poorly coached and undisciplined. But I am just a spectator in the stands and not a coach on the field...

Do you mean next level by going for 4th and long on their own side of the field multiple times? The young man at quarterback has some real ability and there were some decent athletes out there, but Legacy is a bad football team. They reminded me of the old Ozen teams. This one was much closer than the score indicated. If Legacy would punt every once in a while and hadn't been the victim of a weird onside redo, this could have gotten hairy for LCM.

With Flanigan's players and Flanigan's system. WB has gotten worse every year since. Meanwhile United is winning state titles in basketball.

That would have changed the entire complexion of the game. Whoever is in charge of lcm special teams has to do better. And at some point someone should have said to heck with trying to kick! Those kids played good enough to win that game! On another note, the Cards will have covid for the weeks against wos and lcm.

Impressive schedule for fall basketball. I'm excited to see how Bridge City does this season. I hope that Coach Robertson let's his best players (those talented freshmen) take over this team. The future is bright!

Tough district at the top. Hj/fannett- hj struggled without sears, fannett has young talent that isn't selfish Huffman/Livingston- Huffman lost some really good ones, Livingston has some potential

Silsbee Lumberton- should be healthy this year Jasper- always athletic Lcm/Bridge City- bc was young last year and will be much improved. They have a few great shooters. Who does Wos have coming back? I was thinking they graduated almost everything.

The gap wasn't that big at Wos last year. In all seriousness, will Silsbee be the favorite to win state the next two years?
