Fannett should have lost to Orangefield and got destroyed by Nederland. That's top 10 to you? I think Lumberton is closer to being ranked than Fannett when they get all there players healthy.

If you people can't see the machine that Mitchell has built over there, then you are crazy. Silsbee is the only team in this district that can beat the Raiders and as we seen last year, that's not a foregone conclusion.

Great question! WOS did look sharp and played good. I don't think the fight was their fault. I also think you can have a disciplined coached up squad and still land in a tussle or three a la 2021 HJ.

Huffman over PNG Nederland over WOS Nederland over HF in OT WOS looked sharp and disciplined. They were very impressive in the loss. HF is solid and they have key pieces still in football. I see them winning their district.

Coach English is hosting a big fall tournament today in Nederland. Lots of the big schools in the area will be playing like Nederland, Bridge City, Port Arthur, and Hamshire Fannett. I will try to post updates throughout the day.

Wedge, how do you feel about a coach taking shots at others in a thread created to promote himself?

I think he (2wedge) thinks that you (Jay Bilas) are actually Walter Yates and that you (Yates and/or Bilas) think that he (2wedge) doesn't know. He also thinks that you (Yates and/or Bilas) can't resist defending him and/or yourself. I don't believe it though. No way a top ten coach would get on here and promote himself.

Why do you think Josh Mitchell gets no respect? Indian, LSUtiger, and the Benchwarmer all have been very complimentary of what he's done. That's three posters who agree on his ability and it's hard to get three people to agree about anything.

DJ did a really nice job with the Mustangs. Clay made a smart move by scooping him up.

BC Cardinals deserve a little more respect. The Cards went two rounds deep and were close to a third. They return numerous experienced players that have worked really hard this summer. BC has several really good shooters and will be in the playoff hunt again.
