We all know if scales got it he would be the most dedicated passionate coach in their district. Be fun to watch

Finally some honesty…. I have been enjoying people trying to defend this though. It’s been as laughable as the list itself. Nobody can look at that and say “yep, they got it right”.

According to the all districts team Buna and kountz had just as many all district players as them. So maybe both would miss the playoffs 🤷🏻‍♂️

Correct but the award is most valuable player. There isn’t a ton of value when a team has a losing record and doesn’t make the playoffs it’s not the best player award

To me it can’t be done. You take sells off kountze and they are in no different place when the playoffs come. At home watching like us. You take pete or parrualt off ec or orangefield and things are completely different. To give it to a non playoff team is a disservice to the award. This is not an award to say who the best player in the district in one on one is to me. Maybe I’m wrong

I guess I just figured none of these coaches would let their players not get recognized just because another coach was pushing hard. I have faith that the orangefield coach battled for his kids and didn’t participate in that. I could be wrong though.

How are there politics involved as mentioned in footballs post. I mean isn’t it just every head coach in the district getting a vote for the players they felt deserving ?

Are we for sure sells is mvp? I have a hard time believing that one I’m not sure a team that didn’t make the playoffs has ever had a mvp before. Aggies can you think of one ?
