I think it's over few days now, but I used to like it alot when they did all the state games in one day at the SuperDome. Started with low classification at like 8 or 9 am til when ever.
-
about what seed are yall looking at for playoffs?
-
Wolverines with a good bounce back from the start of the season uh?
-
unlike that one..
-
nope. I do remember the qb setting the wide out up for failure across the middle. quit telling BS nobody was speared. if that the case it happened in front of the whole world, yet not one flag. Surely if somebody was doing Hacksaw Jim Duggan at least one official would have called it. anywho........
-
no. personally I miss him alot not being there.
-
[Hidden Content] yeah no reason to get upset about this. only caused a concussion. with the more we learn about how dangerous they are.
-
let's hope it pays off for Jasper. we were for sure battled tested in pre season and for the most part in District play so far
-
2 games away from state who doesn't expect to get tested in round 4. The vast majority of teams would love to just make it to round 4.
-
simply put WOS got extra play when they shouldn't have. (oh! and they still lost after leading by 17 with less than a half to play) ps. breaking huddle with 12 players is a penalty that would stop clock. lol, another miss by Chad and the boys on the extra play.
-
thought you were done. we already we went over this the other day. all you did was support what I am saying because holding is not a penalty that stops the clock(supposed to be) but those officials did otherwise it was correctly going to run out because of the running play tackled in bounds. like he said what should have vs what did happen. it's already been established thar what happened is wrong.

Dayton (6) @ Texas City (41) - FINAL
Dirty_but_Dazzling replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
Just an opinion from an outsider whose opinion or thoughts don't matter. really more curiosity than anything else. I haven't read any of this thread and being totally honest don't know yall record this season, but goodness it seems like I see more and more of these type scores for the Broncos. if I am correct last season was OK but it's been bout ten years or so prior to last year that the Broncos were the type of program they were mid to late 90s to 2010s. not really a powerhouse but a winning program that was guaranteed to be a tough challenge for who ever the opponent is/was. what has caused the downward spiral. people moving away?, kids transferring?, or what? the talent pool just hit rock bottom? I dont mean for this to be taken as negative or taking a shot a Dayton. it's just a football fan being curious. -
Exactly.

LOL!The silence is deafening in here now.The moment it was verified that I was right it went from the most popular to the most quiet. GO DAWGS GO!!
-
just curious. that night I was upset buy since then only trying to get the pals and Homer's to understand they caught some breaks(to say the least). if a person here in Jasper wanted to join a chapter Beaumont would be the one? Does Lufkin have one?
-
bout breaking the huddle with 12 players there at the end? the announcer even says it.
-
the more I thought about it thar could be true. I can see him coming to and "damn check this out. can you believe after the way we did them he text saying good job?" other than that it seems that text from a coach isn't worth going around to show your "pals". if should be the norm, to where you aren't so excited to share.
-
yes! like chad.

it was locked because if the bickering(that I let myself get caught up in and the thread topic wasn't being talked about) I have seen they locked for less. next time I will just delete. But the satisfaction of knowing what I was talking about AND them DAWGS coming back from 17 down. Ain't nobody happier than me. 😂 he'll I will LMAO right along with yall but least am 100
-
yep and the game ended or should have. just like this conversation.
-
ok let me try thus to help. cause sorry to break it to yall but regardless of what society is doing these days you can't have it both ways. the play SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED. just discussed the 10 second runoff. or the correct procedure happens and the clock runs out because Turner was tackled in bounds on third down that started with 9 seconds left. either way another play should NOT HAPPEN.
-
really the good thing for the Qb they have he was saved from the embarrassing spiking of the ball on 4th down when the decided to add a second to clock. because that what he did
-
well according to what happened it should have. because the penalty is what kept time from running out. a penalty that causes clock stoppage falls within the guideline of 10 second run off. because the penalty was accepted and yards marked off
-
I am beating a dead horse but I had to do it. Since yall know the rules so well, you should know that in 2019 this one was added to UIL football. This season, Texas high school football will include the NCAA 10-second runoff provision. Inside the last minute of either half, if there is a foul that stops the clock, such as a false start, defensive offside with contact, illegal forward pass, injury or helmet coming off, the opposing team will have the option of taking the penalty yardage and taking a 10-second runoff. The fouling team can “buy” the time back by taking a timeout. If the offended team declines the penalty yardage, they lose the option of taking the 10-second runoff. If the foul occurs with less than 10-seconds remaining in the half or game, the foul could end the half or game. according to yall the holding penalty stopped the clock so if that actually was true then still no more plays should happen.
