I was standing along the fence at the ole' Alamo watching the 3-0 game. I personally played in 4 absolutely all out battles on the field against the Silver&Blue. 1986 - I was in 8th grade and our very first game was a 0-0 tie. We played them a second time that year and it was an 8-0 loss for us. To those who think maybe the JR High games don't matter, well it does if/when you play in them. We had not a clue of the pre cursor those games were of what was to come. 1990 a 7-6 win for yall 1991 a 14-6 win for yall

2013 & 2018 playoffs were pretty good games as well. The Silver & Blue fans liking them even more so. 18-16 & 21-14(both 3rd round games)

THAT! Young lady isn't an issue whatsoever. Their Coach is a former NFL player who I think knows a thing or two about it. Trust me, as much on the field time those young men have had this season if they weren't we wouldn't be having this conversation.

off topic for a moment. 30 years ago did you know that Jaspers 4×100 team set a world record(national record of course as well). First sub 40 second race 39.9 and it stood for about 10 years until a team from around Fort Worth beat it.

Horton, our defensive success this season is because of our first year defensive coordinator Malcolm Bronson. He is a Jasper alum who is/was a helluva athlete himself. He had a VERY GOOD college career at Mcneese State resulting in his going to the NFL. Two years with KC then two years with Chicago (he also was drafted by the KC Royals baseball coming out of highschool in 2008). Not taking at all from the young men we have on defense at all. they are athletic and give it their all on every play. I am sure other Jasper fans would agree that it's not as chaotic and confused at times on what's going on. We have been doing somewhat better on offense lately and I like to think we have improved on the execution of whatever type of offense it's called. Maybe a new type called RANDOM is appropriate, with each week being a mystery for Jasper fans. LOL. But I also keep in mind the defenses we have played. take care and the I wish yall the best the rest of the way.

I know rankings when it comes down to it don't mean much, if at all. I am curious though how the Eagles are considered the #7 team in 3A DII. One "quality" loss to the #4 ranked team 2 divisions above them is = to 0 losses against teams all in the same division. imo. Fly HIGH Eagles! Fly HIGH! as always your neighbors 16 miles to the west are pulling for you.

when he wasn't running for his life against the DAWGS(Jasper) the young man made some nice throws. he has some big ole boys in front of him on the O-line but come 4th qtr they were wore out.

it wouldn't be the first time. matter of fact it wasn't long ago they stomped us 53-0. so with the offensive struggles Jasper has had why would I expect anything different. with that said, move along. for reasons like the ones I said in a previous comment. you are more than welcome to put me on ignore list.

Jasper isn't Orange County. Besides, my comment was by no means .......not nice. not sure how you meant that, but regardless it's a sad shame that even in a sports forum for crying out loud in today's society a person has to have a disclaimer explaining what they mean in order to keep from hurting feelings or offending someone(s) in order to keep from being reprimanded.
