7-0 DAWGS. Jasper missed a field goal at the end of 1st quarter. DAWGS had the ball all but 15 seconds of 1st quarter.

so sad. didn't he pass away like right after football season? about a 100 wins in 9 seasons (pretty damn good).

lol. speaking of Hebert. in 1980 Coach had an undefeated Bulldog team in the regular season but did NOT make playoffs. 8-0-2 the Bulldogs were. Tied with Huntsville 15-15 early in the season. Then tied with Hebert in the next to last game of regular season 10-10. Huntsville beat Hebert during playoffs while on their way to winning State Championship.

he won 75% of the 200+ games during his 20 year tenure as Jasper head coach. I played during his time and had /have alot of respect for him. he was somewhat old school but it worked.

not saying this is a District of Doom, but it is far and away( to this point it appears) one of the most competitive if not THE MOST competitive Districts in which to win a DC in all of 4A DI .

since we have only "beat" Hardin Jefferson. so them being above HJ doesn't say much. just saying. all loses have come from teams in higher classification at their home field

anyone know where I can see an accurate box score and stat lines for this game? Jasper has got to be one of, if not the very top of yardage list in all of 4A, possibly all classifications. Penalty yards I am speaking of. I have spoke of it alot the past several seasons ( "it" being the undisciplined, game changing, hoarding of yellow fabric). Coach and his staff has to by what ever means necessary get a handle on this. it's very disheartening and a Big issue for the Bulldogs. edit
