I'll take Huffman in this one.
i like how classy the yankees fans are. run for the exits when their team is down, slap an opponent's glove away when he's trying to make a catch at the fence, and gloat and make fun of the rangers every time something goes wrong. they've still got to take two in a row in arlington, though.
I agree, these yankee fans are pretty classless. Oh well, there is only one way to shut them up. Hopefully the RANGERS will finish them off Friday night.

The RANGERS are 27 outs away from making their first trip to the World Series. Come on guys, finish things up in new york. IT'S TIME!!!

I've seen both teams this year. I believe the Panthers are the better team.
-
This series should be a good one. The two teams played 8 games this season with each team winning 4. Both teams have solid line-ups and better than average pitching staffs.
-
Just shows how much these guys mean to each other. Team chemistry can go a long way. These guys want to do well for each other.
I'm V-Ho im #42 and i'm the one that hit him head on and fractured his c5. SORRY hope hes well
It's not your fault and you have no reason to be sorry. Both of you were playing the game the way it's supposed to be played. Sometimes, accidents will happen. I'm pretty sure that the young man from HJ has no bad feeling's towards you. -
And here we are, game 5. Come on RANGERS, IT'S TIME!!!
-
Pretty close matchup here. I think the pitching is equal but the phillies have a better offense. Taking philadelphia in 6.
Tampa really has very little offensive firepower. After watching them, it is surprising that they were able to win the East. Their pitching must be awesome.
I really think the RANGERS are just better than tampa bay right now. tampa bay's offense ranks 3rd in runs scored (802) in the American League. They are only behind the yankees (859) and the red sox. (818) *The RANGERS are 4th with 787 runs scored. tampa bay's pitching ranks 2nd in the American League with a team ERA of 3.78. They trail only oakland, who has a team ERA of 3.56. *The RANGERS rank 3rd in the American League with a 3.93. In the first two games of the series the RANGERS offense have scored 11 runs to tampa's 1. The RANGERS are just flat out, out hitting and out pitching the rays. Now of course, this could all change but right now there is no doubt that the RANGERS are a better ball club than tampa bay.
-
Right now, the RANGERS are playing well enough to beat anyone in the major's. I hope they can continue playing at this level. Looking for the sweep on saturday.
-
I would rather throw a no-hitter. Throwing a no-hitter means that you are very good for an entire game. Hitting a walk-off homerun means you were good for 1 pitch.

Best Coach in the Area Covered By this Board
Ty Cobb replied to rollinac's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
The best coach in the area is the coach with the best players. -
I think he's right up there with those greats that you named. Sure, his numbers aren't the same but you expect him to win every time he is on the mound just as you expected Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Schilling, Beckett, Johnson, and Clemens to win. He's a true #1 and does what #1's do. He gives his team a chance to win with quality outings.
-
Game 2: C. J. Wilson vs James Shields It sure would be nice if this series goes to Arlington with the RANGERS up 2-0.
-
I agree. I didn't think I would ever see the RANGERS with quality pitching. It looks like the organization is headed in the direction to be contenders for a long time. Also would love to see Michael Young get a shot at the World Series. He's been a great team player and leader since his arrival. How about this, a World Series Championship for #10 in 2010!!!

The kid from Huffman is the best throwing QB that I have seen this year.
thought i heard he took the evadale job?
He is at Orangefield coaching football and track.
-
Same as other National League game. Pulling for the braves but the giants have the better pitching.
-
I'm pulling for the reds but the phillies have the better pitching staff.
-
I hate to say it, but I have to go with the yanks.
