  1. Who's on the hill for the Longhorns?
  2. Ok, this is what I have found so far. Torii Hunter vowed to buy a bottle of champagne for the Kansas City Royals because they beat Detroit last year, giving the division title to Minnesota. MLB has a rule against gift-giving to other teams. (A 3-year suspension) The unopened bottles were sent back to Minnesota. Surely they can't suspend Hunter for 3 years when steroids and drugs are a year suspension or less. Keep me updated if you hear anything about this.
  3. Did I dream this or did I hear that MLB is thinking about suspending, Hunter for buying champagne for the Kansas City Royals?
  4. I'm going with the Horns.
  5. Jasper should win in 5.
  6. Would there be enough time for this?
  7. The Hawks are hot, they win 7-2.
  8. I can't believe someone no-hit the Rangers. The only thing they have going for themselves, is their ability to hit the ball and score runs. We know their pitching is terrible, but now their bats failed them. This is a bad sign for us Rangers fans. >
  9. Glad to see my Bearkats bounce back after that beating they took from Lamar.
  10. The Cardinals will win easily.
  11. Hardin-Jefferson Hawks
  12. I agree with this selection. Fogo got all he could out of his kids each and every game. Congrats to Coach Fogo on JV Coach of the Year.
  13. The Houston paper isn't a whole lot better for the Golden Triangle. I think they stop their coverage at Barbers Hill.
  14. Going with The Hill.
  15. Yes!!! This puts the RANGERS one game up on the lastros.
  16. On base percentage is more important than batting avg. Avg is base hits only. On base can be by walk, error, fielders choice, etc... You have to be on base to give your team a chance to win.
  17. Think about how much fun it would be to watch Calhoun and Dishon in the same outfield. Talk about an outfield where basehits go to die!!! ;D
  18. I don't think there's a high school program in the state, much less this area, that would turn either one of these young men away. Call whichever one you want #1 and the other #2. Congrats to both on very successful high school careers.
