I still have a BB stuck in my face, about an inch and a half below my eye, from a BB gun war. I have to tell the story every time I go to a dentist. X-rays show the darn thing
I can remember watching The Dukes of Hazzard, then pretending our picnic table was the General Lee. No telling how many times I ripped my pants sliding across the “hood” like Bo and Luke used to do. Great times back in the day
I have said multiple times in discussions similar to this one that there are only 2 places that the Texas high school state football games should be played. At the University of Texas or AT&T. When you think Texas football, the horns and the COWBOYS come to mind. Those 2 are the epitome of Texas football.
I also agree that having a domed stadium shouldn't be a requirement. Football was made to be played outside and is at the high school level. Why change it for the state games? If your team can't handle the elements then you are not as good as you think you are!!!
Yes, I’m trying to prove a point just like you are trying to prove a point. You are trying to say all DFW teams have an advantage because of the location of the state games. I’m giving you an example of a team that does not have the advantage and is very successful. Stop crying and realize that the state games are played where they should be
The Cameron Yoemen, a central Texas team, that East Chambers fans know very well won 3 in a row at AT&T. Cameron is 2.5 hours from Arlington. No home field advantage there. How do you explain their success? As a matter of fact they lost their chance at 4 in a row in houston, which is a shorter distance than Arlington.
Why so jealous? Find me a player that doesn’t want to play in the Greatest Stadium in Texas. Kids don’t dream about playing in houston or in San antonio but they do dream about playing where AMERICA’s TEAM plays!!!
NRG did a terrible job hosting the event. They didn't even do the research to realize that some of the smaller classifications bring a huge crowd. Seating was not good. The state games are played exactly where they should be.
Count me in on this opportunity. I want to teach how to use the entrance ramp on a interstate/freeway. I hate when people enter an interstate at 40 mph when the speed limit on that interstate is 70.
No one in the nfl respects the COWBOYS WR’s. The DB’s just sit on the underneath routes and contest every throw. Someone has to be able to stretch the defense
