  1. Wow, that's powerful!!!
  2. Does this situation fall under rule "b"? I was under the assumption that if the ball hit the mound/pitching rubber it would be considered a fair ball. I learned something new today.
  3. That was so good that I watched it twice!!!
  4. Why is this a foul ball?
  5. Report this morning, from a Dallas area radio show, says that Tony Romo will retire today and will become a broadcaster.
  6. What of the odds of keeping Romo on the roster and using him as insurance? You know, just in case something happens to Prescott. He would also be good trade bait throughout the season. It seems every year a QB goes down early in the season. If the COWBOYS hold on to Romo and a team needs a starter due to injury, there would be more of a chance to trade him.
  7. No. This is what I call part timers. The school is not good enough to attend but it's good enough to play sports. No part timers wanted!!!! If a kid wants the advantages of a school athletic program then the kid needs to attend the school. Another reason is that a kid from a split family, whose parents pay taxes at two different school districts, could more or less be recruited to whichever school he wants.
  8. Very exciting 1st inning
  9. That's it, I have finally heard it all. Milk is racist. The next time I see a black mother breast feeding I'll call her an Uncle Tom. I mean, what is she thinking, how dare she give her child the nourishment needed! The california student who wrote this paper is beyond repair. Mental illness or plain stupidity?
  10. The area is too small to support any type of pro league with the exception of minor league sports. The problem is, most fans do not have enough interest in minor league sports.
  11. Adam Jones made a great catch in center last night, robbing a HR!!!
  12. Talk about making America great again, lets make it "idiots week off."
  13. Doug Free is retiring
  14. Barry Church is signing with Jacksonville
  15. FRISCO, Texas – The Cowboys have re-signed Brice Butler on the eve of free agency, keeping the four-year veteran receiver in Dallas. Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed. Arriving in a 2015 trade with the Oakland Raiders, Butler has appeared in 23 games with Dallas over the last two seasons, catching 28 passes for 477 yards and three touchdowns. The Cowboys’ wide receiver depth is still a unclear, though, with Terrance Williams set to become an unrestricted free agent when the new league year begins Thursday at 3 p.m. Central Time. Butler was also set to be an unrestricted free agent Thursday. Speaking at the Senior Bowl in January, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said the team would like to re-sign both receivers. Williams’ future is unclear, but Butler’s return gives the Cowboys a wideout with starting experience. A hamstring injury limited Butler to seven games in 2015, but last season he stepped up in three starts for an injured Dez Bryant. Two of his three touchdowns came in starts against the San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packers.
  16. I'm glad they caught them. I wish the court system would prosecute them as if they had carried out these acts of terrorism. This would send a lesson to everyone.
  17. This is what I have a problem with: In their demands, students explain why the new black student center is not enough, “because we want a space solely dedicated to community organizing and social justice work specifically for people of color.”
  18. What a joke! The problem is, some idiot liberal will think this is a good idea and file a law suit that will make it happen. Talk about racism and segregation at it's finest. Is there a $10,000,000 Center for Whites? What about a $10,000,000 Center for Hispanics or Center for Asian's? Should other races start demanding that there be a place for their race and only their race to gather to work on social issues? This world is going to HELL because of idiots. Someone please put a stop to this nonsense!!!
  19. Wow, all this time I thought the media's job was to report news.
  20. I have one of those. Pretty darn accurate as well.
  21. Just read the article that I posted to see what he has done for the NFL. There is not a single owner who doesn't understand and respect what Jerry Jones has brought to the NFL. He did build a nice facility in Arlington, actually it's the best stadium in the NFL. Yes, taxpayers paid for part of the stadium. Arlington voters approved the following tax increases: 0.5% city sales tax 2% hotel occupancy tax 5% car rental tax This came out to a little over $325 million. That means that Jerry Jones covered or found investors to cover the other $675 million. Sounds pretty fair to me! He has done very well in promoting the COWBOYS and bringing in revenue. The COWBOYS are currently worth $4 billion. Worth more than any other sports franchise in the world. Not a bad return on a $140 million investment. His team has won 3 of the 5 Super Bowls that the COWBOYS have. Don't give me that, "it was Jimmy's team crap." Jerry owns the team. If your going to blame him for all the "wrongs", you have to give him credit for the "rights", as well. I will agree with you on Stephen Jones having more responsibility for the draft. His current title is Executive Vice President, CEO, and Director of Player Personnel for the COWBOYS. However Jerry still has final say on who they draft.
  22. Ok, so my question is, what do you have against Jerry Jones? Why, in your opinion, is he not a great owner or GM?
  23. I agree with you on Randy Gregory. He is a waste. You can say the same for Gavin Escobar. I do like their approach with the 2nd round picks though. The COWBOYS strategy in the 2nd round is to take a chance on a player. Sometimes they hit (Sean Lee and hopefully Jaylon Smith) I will also agree with Greg Hardy, although I don't blame them. He was considered by many the best option at a pass rusher. Didn't work at all. Too much baggage. Fired Jimmy Johnson. Again can't argue, but Jimmy deserves just as much blame as Jerry does on this matter. Ego's got in the way of something wonderful!!! Passing on Randy Moss is the reason Jerry Jones did not pass of Greg Hardy. Kind of selling your soul to the devil. The trading of picks for Joey Galloway and Roy Williams were his biggest mistakes in my opinion. The Galloway trade could have been different is Aikman stays healthy. The Claiborne move has not worked out like they hoped. Another "chance" taken that hasn't paid off. However, there are many quaility picks and moves that have happened during this same time. Putting together the Offensive line, drafting Zeke and taking Dak when every team passed on him at least 3 times just to name a few.
