I read earlier, that a BBQ restaurant in the Dallas area is selling shirts that say "Rougned eats free". They are going to allow Odor to eat free anytime he comes to the restaurant. [Hidden Content] -

Here's what it boils down to; bautista made a mistake with his bat flip. Everyone in the sporting world knew there would be some type of retaliation by the RANGERS. This is baseball. toronto expected it, the fans of both teams expected it, baseball fans in general expected it. The problem is not that Matt Bush hit bautista. The problem is the bat flip. bautista would have never been hit if not for his actions. There is a huge difference in celebrating an achievement and "showing up" another team or opponent. bautista "showed up" the RANGERS with his actions. He paid for it with a ball to the ribs. Very few people, outside of toronto, had a problem with this. Everyone knew it was coming. If the punk, bautista leaves it at that, the situation is over. But no, he now thinks he needs to do something in return. He goes in late and hard at 2nd in attempt to take out Odor. He didn't slide that way to break up a double play. He had intent to take out Odor. Again, his mistake. He got up and got whipped by Odor. Very simple life lesson, do not "show up" your opponent. If you do, be ready to pay the price! -

GREATEST PLAY IN BASEBALL 1976
Ty Cobb replied to Hagar's topic in Professional Sports- NFL, NBA, MLB, Etc
I was born in the summer of 1976 so my only memories of this are from what I have seen on the news through the years. It was a moment where an American citizen stood up for "what's right" without worrying how people would react. The problem is, now days, someone would sue for not allowing those two idiots to burn the FLAG. Our department stores and major company's would follow suit and make a rule that flag burners can use whichever public restroom they want. -
The Dallas Cowboys suffered another big blow to an already depleted defensive front. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday that the team and Demarcus Lawrence were notified that the defensive end faces a four-game suspension for another failed drug test. Lawrence is appealing the suspension, according to sources informed of the situation. The Dallas Morning News first reported the pending ban. Lawrence was previously hit with a four-game fine for a substance abuse violation, making a four-game suspension the next step. Dallas already had huge question marks along the defensive front entering next week's NFL draft. Earlier this offseason, defensive end Randy Gregory was suspended for the first four contests for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse. The Cowboys have wanted nothing to do with bringing back Greg Hardy. Jeremy Mincey also remains unsigned. The depletion of depth along the defensive line could force the Cowboys to eschew the likes of running back Ezekiel Elliott or corner Jalen Ramsey and use their No. 4 overall pick on a pass rusher, such as Joey Bosa.

Yes sir, there's a lot of truth in the that one line and a whole lot of truth in the entire song.
