  1.   Man, I remember that throw from Troy to Harp like it was yesterday.  The story behind that play is pretty interesting.  The COWBOYS had run that same play a few times throughout the game.  The play was designed to throw the slant to Michael Irvin, but Aikman's pre-snap read told him the slant would not be there.  The throw kept going to Harper on the other side.  Well, late in the game the same play is called.  Due to Troy's pre-snap read on this play, Irvin wanted the game in his hands, so he told Harper that he was switching positions.  Irvin actually lines up in Harper's position and Harper in Irvin's.   Troy looks at the defense and see's that the slant to Irvin is going to be there, however, he notices that Irvin is not lined up where he normally is.  It's actually Harper.  Troy said he just hoped Alvin would run the route the correct way and ran the play.  Harp runs the slant, makes the catch and the COWBOYS are headed to the Super Bowl.  Gives me chills!!!
  2. Tonight's game should be a great one.  The 7-6 mariners are pitching Felix Hernandez, while the 7-7 RANGERS are sending Yu Darvish to the mound.  Game time is 7:05 from Globe Life Park in Arlington.
  3.     In one of your earlier post you said that you stopped being a fan when Tony Dorsett left.  All players come and go.  There has to be another reason that you stopped being a fan.
  4.     I agree with Tyron Smith and Travis Fredrick.  Smith is turning into one heck of a LT.  Fredrick really reminds me of Step in the way he moves but he is a lot larger than Stepnoski was.  If he continues to improve he has the chance to be the most dominating center the COWBOYS have ever had.   Mark Stepnoski  6'2"  265   Travis Fredrick  6'3"  317
  5. Game 2 of the 4 game series is scheduled for 7:05 tonight.  The 7-5 mariners will send, former RANGERS 1st round draft pick, Blake Beavan to the mound.  TEXAS will counter with Robbie Ross.  All players for both teams will wear the #42 for "Jackie Robinson Day".

  22. The RANGERS(3-4) look to rebound from a 5-1 loss in game 1 as they send Martin Perez to the mound.  The redsox(3-4) will counter with Felix Doubront.  Game time from Fenway is 5:10.
  23. boston wins 5-1.  Scheppers had a good outing, giving up 2 runs, but the bullpen couldn't get it done.
  24. I can't take credit for this list.  The DC.com writers put this list out.  They only went with  a starter and a backup.  I think the list is about as good as it can get.    Which position do you think is the strongest?    Are there any current players that can eventually take a spot on this list?
