You said, "I could not imagine where our program would be without Neumann and his staff."  Maybe win a state championship?  How about an out-right district championship?  Remember, the bar wasn't set very high when he arrived.  I'll agree: the program has been respectable.  If this is the only thing that satisfies us, then mission accomplished.  Granted, Nederland had a few above average years.  But that is ancient history.  Nederland's been squeeking in the playoffs in the 3rd or 4th place slots.  Anyone disagree with this assessment.?  If you do, state facts.

Some of you people are out of your minds!!!! Neumann is one of the best coaches in this area. Do you remember what the Ned program was like before he came? I do! It wasn't pretty. He has had some horrible luck lately with injuries etc. and still had Nederland in the playoffs. You guys need to calm down a bit and just let him do his thing. The bad events can't last forever and Ned has some good young talent right now. Things will get better.
Thanks and I agree. As a coach you have to play the cards you are dealt with. Neumann and his staff does a great job and exceeds expectation. I could not imagine where our program would be without Neumann and his staff. I will say that the expectations will rise starting next year with all the talent coming through. We will be fine...

3. If Nederland doesn't straighten up their defense, it's gonna be a long year.
 4. Good thing the UIL added a 3rd and 4th place playoff team, right??!!
You guys have lost your mind, period. With the injuries we have had in recent years and we still make the playoffs.
5. Anyone think that Neumann should go back to his old offense with a young QB?  It might continue to look ugly in this offense if he doesn't.  Really don't think the defense will hold up their end of the bargain.  Any opinions?
 6. 486 yards Nederland's defense gave up!!    OUCH!!!!

What was the total yardage given up by Nederland's defense?
This is what I turned in this morning after entering data in computer stat program I use. wos  291 rush  195 pass     486 total ned  125 rush    41 pass     166 total
7. What was the total yardage given up by Nederland's defense?
 8. I'm still thinking WOS by 20.  It'll come down to defense.  It appears that WOS has the defense for this year.
 9. I understand LC-M looked pretty good against Brazoswoods.
 10. If WO-S's defense is going to be better, then I'd say WO-S by 20.
Yes. I hope.  :D Defense should be better, QB with more experience and a Great RB, hopefully he will stay healthy and he's just a JR at that.
11. I see last years LC-M defensive coordinator left after one year.  What's the scoop?
 12. Anything going on with the LC-M head coach?  May have put his foot in his mouth!?  Is LC-M looking for a replacement?  Anyone heard anything???
 13. Did the RB move to LCM?  If not yet, what are the chances he moves?
OK AGGIE,i will start it off .knowing crouch ,the passing game is his bread and butter. nederland will have there hands full trying to stop it i do belive.the bears have one of the better QBs around tuff to bring down as he showed most of us last year and brother he has gotton stronger. in closeing nederland better be ready, the bears running game is so so unless thay got the kid from west orange to move to there school   BYE
14. Looks like a good choice...
 15. Ha!!  That is funny.  But no...

People in Hampshire-Fannett need to start calling those that are making the decision who to hire, and tell them Danny Malone is the answer.  Like I said, someone will hire this fine coach...
Is there any chance that you might be.............Mrs. Malone? :)
17. I say bring the "Bonsai Man" to Hampshire Fannett!!  They would love it!
 18. This is from Jackhammer on another thread concerning Danny Malone:  "Malone has 204 wins that's worth a look in itself."
 19. I think if Danny Malone got this job, he has the personality and passion for kids that would win over any parent that might see a perceived problem.  Any thoughts?
 20. Somebody will snap Danny Malone up.  He's a good one...
 21. He is a solid choice.  A choice the community would/could be proud of.  He is a good christian man who cares deeply for all students...
even if malone only stayed 3-4 years, it would be well worth it. Just to get the program going in the rt direction. Winning just breds winning.
22. Anyone here from Hampshire Fannett?  There is a name on the list that should strongly be considered.  His name is Danny Malone.  I would pick him over Price.  He is the former PN-G coach.  And anyone that would be interested can go back and see what he did at PN-G. I would push those making the decisions to seriously consider Danny Malone!!!
 23. Excellent article!
]
