  1. Welcome back, indeed!
  2. Not a fraud, my friend, just a tremendous amount of help when they hired Neumann. Again, how good were his defenses under DeRouen? Not very, as I recall. If you have a good explanation for this one, I'll listen.
  3. Sorry to say, but you were alone in Special Ed!
  4. All I can say is don't go to Vegas. You are 0-3!
  5. PNGFAN, you are one sly son-of-a-gun! ;D ;D
  6. I stand corrected. You are right. Not EVERYONE would want to see that change. Just like Neumann hated to see Barnett leave. Since we rehashed this before, let me state my opinion on some of these defenses. Before Neumann, the defenses weren't very good. I believe this individual was at the helm for DeRouen. Then Neumann came along. It got somewhat better; had a few good above average years. But what is the difference? I say it was Neumann's influence. If Neumann left, and the same at defensive helm, it would go back to what it was before Neumann. But I don't think he would be a new coaches DC. Again, just my opinion.
  7. There's one thing that can be done to improve the situation 50% right off the bat; maybe 75%. But the HC will not do it. You know it and I know it. Like one poster said: it's like a spaghetti strainer. You are not stupid. Some people just tend to drink more of the kool-aid than other's do. Not to say that you do, of course. PS - You did good on the periods.
  8. Since there is a question mark after "said," and you are not sure, go and read it again. That's exactly what the man said. What's your suggestion for making them tougher?
  9. I think everyone knows what needs to be done. But the question is: will he do it? If not, well... Again: IMHO...
  10. New Indian said it looks like he's getting nervous. Why not ask him/her?! OK, so what does he have coming through his program?
  11. Sorry to hear this. I remember him. He was a good RB for PN-G.
  12. Good question.
  13. We may need to start the "Neumann Nervous Meter." 0 - 10 scale; 10 being highly shaking in boots. Where do you think it's at right now?
  14. I bet you do! ;D ;D ;D look forward to seeing that. Those defenses lately aren't typical of Ned. IMO Hey I like Nederlands' defenses, kind of like using a spaghetti strainer, alot gets through.
  15. Neumann's admitting they've lacked toughness in recent years. Interesting!
  16. Was Glen Hill the OC during this time?
  17. Outside the district is probably what one would want.
  18. It would seem to me that when a school goes through two HC's and hardly any wins, that you would not want to promote from within. IMHO
  19. Sorry about that folks. I was talking about info on the displaced coaches at PN-G.
  20. Any recent info?
  21. The honeymoon will last as long as he wins.
  22. Maybe so. But this brings up the age old question again: Is it the coach? Is it the players? Is it a combo of each? Different caliber of players....Permian has and will always get "move in" student/athletes
  23. I find it also interesting that Gaines in 4 years at San Angelo Central (same region as Permian) had a 14-28 record. And this is after the succes at Permian. Just more to ponder.
  24. Interesting that they would re-hire a coach that previously coached there.
  25. "I wouldn't say Clayton was a bad hire." Interesting! It should be an easy decision! But, this is BMT, sometime you never know which way they're gonna screw it up! They will screw things up believe me.......ex:Hiring of coach clayton never know what savaet will do these days I wouldnt say Clayton was a bad hire, I would just say that he made a few mistakes in judgement..
