Horrible call by the UIL. I agree with AggiesAreWe. There were several players that didn’t throw a punch and wasn’t involved. HD could have done better. Having the kids in the corner for little dribblers def made it worse. But few of the players and parents at HD need the book threw at them I agree. But Burkeville receives 0 punishment. None. They had one coach to handle the JV and varsity. And everything that occurred that wasn’t on the film. As in could not get the kids on bus. Cop assisted him, kids threw punches at him. Seems a lot of reset needs to happen in Burkeville. HD needs to do better. But you’re right. They started doesn’t get you a pass. But Burkeville not receiving any punishment from UIL isn’t fair either. And there isn’t any appeal. Decision is final.

And add all the HD little dribblers, all the little kids were setting in that corner. Burkeville player was ejected 1st quarter and then came in stands behind the HD bench and started mouthing and then swinging on the bench players. Then it all broke loose after that.

You got it. That topic of leaving was discussed a while back. And if Hardin would have helped out and got coaches this position coach wanted he still be there. The ISD didnt want to help out any. So easy on your strong verbiage about accountability. But Hardin is in and Anahuac is out. And deservingly so. Can’t knock that. You got me there. But maybe Hardin needs to worry more about keeping an eye on their principals and coaching staff phones then improving their athletic programs.

Heard Garrison coaches were warned several times to come out of the time out. So ref placed the ball and started play. And he did go off on that ref. First ejection of coach I seen in a very long time. I can’t remember that last one. But one thing is a fact, Barrier can spin the rock. Lot of big time throws.
