  1. You must be referring to LaPorte's defense? PNG scored 49, but gave up 35. It's been a few weeks since that game, but if I recall, LP's 2 or 3 RBs and their QB looked pretty danged healthy to me. Edit: Looking back at the game thread, LP did have some defensive starters out for that game. That was an early season game, though; lots of changes on both teams since then, especially on defense.
  2. Fixed it for you. They very well could have but didn't, and got beat.
  3. LOL! You beat me to it. Banished! To Region 2.
  4. PAM squandered that opportunity. .
  5. Kicked it too hard and fast
  6. This game needs an OT
  7. I hope PNG plays with the same intensity as they did last night.
  8. Well, it's looking like PNG vs Texarkana next week.
  9. yes, its cutting in and out ... now its buffering
  10. That was pretty ugly.
  11. Quick TD, kept it on the ground. Nice.
  12. I'm not gonna lose sleep over it, but I agree with most everyone else that the TL camera needs to zoom out a little. Also, the Wildcat defense seem to be sitting on some of those plays, especially the reverses.
  13. The whole thing is getting ugly now, both here, and there.
  14. doesn't appear to be a running clock.
  15. It's that long drive. It must have been that long drive down from Dallas.
  16. You're right, thanks! And btw, I knew that, I just got a little confused, and maybe caught up in the moment I guess. I'm pulling for Huntsville already, but would really absolutely LOVE to see SOC get beat by the freshman QB.
  17. I'd like to see that as well. Re the freshman QB, there're some similarities to last year's PNG team after Adams went down and the freshman QB came in. The team rallied around him and the very next game they shut out FBM 7-0.
  18. Huntsville, by at least a field goal. Or perhaps two field goals.
  19. Same thing happened two years ago when all of the best DBs and double teams were on Prosperie. It freed up Guanerie. This season #9 has tried to force more passes, and hasn't been as accurate as last season, he's still a good QB. The defense is what it is, at this point. Hopefully #43 is getting back to speed now, so to speak, but otherwise this is it as far as the DBs go I think. Hopefully the offense will really get clicking, and that will be all we need.
  20. I sure hope Brenham puts LH out of their misery. A loss for LH in some other round besides the semis. All Brenham needs to do is watch for fake punts, razzle dazzle, KO return tricks, OSKs, smoke and mirrors, and stay after it until the horn blows.
  21. Huntsville. I like the Huntsville coach and I'm thinking he'll have them on their game.
  22. That makes sense. I looked at page 1 of this thread to see where the game was played, and PAM is listed as the home team. Whatever; it's a good warm-up game for the remaining season.
  23. Texas is definitely speedy, and loaded with some good athletes, but still, Nederland appeared fatigued and just not with it last night. Still not over their MCM win I'm thinking, and for sure not over the fall in District, much less the long road trip. I was saying right after the MCM game that I thought that Ned did PNG a favor. But I don't think their brief stint in the top 10 did them any favors. Anyway, it was a good season, and good to see them back in the playoffs.
