  1. This thread is indeed ridiculous. But I've noticed all season, the refs reluctance to signal TD with the goal line pile ups. I forget which game, either Laporte or MLC, Coach Joseph got really mad when the pile clearly crossed the goal line and the refs wouldn't signal TD.
  2. I didn't hear about the LB, or else I forgot. Man that's too bad, though.
  3. Man that's too bad for #15. I hear that he's a good kid. He's certainly a good rb and will be missed for however many remaining games PNG has. So now the 3rd string RB is the starter. Unless I'm mistaken the 2nd string RB was injured in the Klein game?
  4. I could have sworn (without immediately searching back through the preseason threads) that the team that everyone wrote out of the playoffs was Montgomery. Nederland fans that I know in person aren't surprised about the Bulldogs current standing in District, with all the returning starters and new HC. Plus I haven't heard of any major injuries. If that's true (all starters healthy), then they're about the only team in district that can say that. The most surprised fans I see this season are the PNG and Dayton folks.
  5. Yes, and #4 may be the new Shea.
  6. Hopefully they've turned a corner. Offense too. Again.
  7. How r u getting NDN Press? Is it back on now?
  8. That's the word. And so is NDN Press, btw, again.
  9. Looks like a good game. Per MaxPrep Burkeville has a roster of 20 and a staff of 4, while Chester has a roster of 19 and a staff of 3. Not a bad match for 6-man. This is 6-man, right?
  10. I watched a little bit of this one on TL in between doorbell rings and handing out candy. The game was close in the first half, and I thought that NCWF would do better in the 2nd half, but they didn't. They always seemed just one or even 1/2 of a block away from a big play. Not to take anything away from Dayton defense; they played a good tough game.
  11. I'm pulling for PNG for district; but otherwise I like the sentiment.
  12. Am I looking at the scores for football, or perhaps wrong? Or did SOC win their game tonight by a score of 2 - 0.
  13. Yep, if so then that's a tough break for Huntsville, and it also means that things are serendipitously falling into place for Nederland. This is obviously their year. If some major player for Montgomery gets hurt this Friday in the PNG game, then we'll know for sure.
  14. LOL! There're several things that have jinxed the PNG season, and those dimming lights are certainly one of them, IMO. The malfunction last Fri while your own team is trying to kick an EP was ridiculous. I've been holding my breath with every EP this season already, but that was simply ridiculous.
  15. No one except CJ can answer your question of course, but regular viewers notice that he's all over the sidelines, and always engaged. At the side at times, and sometimes in the middle, and occasionally one on one in a player's face. Don't try to read anything into it. Nederland won this one, and leave it at that.
  16. You are definitely correct right there. Congrats to the Nederland team, they came to play some football. Great win for them last night, and especially for all of their 3-year starters.
  17. Man. I should have bet money on this game.
  18. I think CB's arm must be hurt? He's way off tonight.
  19. The Indians are playing uninspired football. I can almost see the offensive linemen yawning in between plays. All the team needs is a little fire and they'll be ok.
  20. WOS should win this one. But not if they play like they did against Nederland, they pretty much gave that game away. They've been on a cake walk since then.
