Couldn’t tell you. Didn’t watch any WOS games but I can tell you that…working with a WOS alum who never misses a game, his words… doesn’t look like the normal bunch lining up on Off. and Def. He said that after 5 or 6 games into the season. Didn’t ask any questions cause WOS winning or losing has no bearing on my life.

For the majority of WOS seasons including playoffs they out talent their opponents… district and a couple rounds in the playoffs. Not till 3d, 4th rd does talent and coaching start to even out. Genius

@Reagan Your life must be sad and pathetic for you to only judge a high school coach and his athletes by wins and losses. Must have been bullied and this is your way of getting back at people, degrading a coach and his career…. Real winner you are Not many posters that are from or live in Vidor get on here claiming to be world beaters. Our young men lineup every Friday… sometimes on a Saturday and play till the last whistle every game. They don’t complain about not winning championships, they don’t complain about the past. They play to their capabilities and some go above and beyond… hell some even make it to the next level. But what those young men lack in wins, championships, athletic ability/accomplishments they more than make up for it with character… and that character will take you further than a sports playing career!

I can’t think of another poster that does not belong on this thread. BC is a dumpster fire… worry about y’all first then Vidor 😉 If you would have been around the Vidor football program in the early, mid, late 90’s, you’d see that we have come a long ways… real long ways! And there is and has been a buzz in the air surrounding Vidor football with Coach Mathews as the leader. Have we won much in his time as AD/HC yes and no BUT to you and a few other posters, only true success is measured by trophies not by the lessons young men and women have learned. and I guarantee those lessons learned will take any of them further in life than a high school win/loss record.

What was the average size of PNG’s offensive line last season (height and weight)? Gimmick offense??? Guess you’ve never heard of Liberty Hill and a few other schools that run the same offense that make deep playoff runs Year in, Year out. Absolutely love all the paid coaches on this site with their cast knowledge football but more specifically Vidor football.

You mean to tell that BC brought in a coach from a storied program (I have NO clue who the coach is… don’t care) and didn’t start winning right away?!?! He didn’t bring over the winning formula to make a state run?!?!
