Def true, Houston area coaches that coach two sports average around 75-80k a year. Coordinators are around 90-100k, that link you posted holds no weight and is very inaccurate. When i was at NS the starting salary was 60k(probably higher now) coaches get paid a stipend plus a certain amount of days for each sport they coach. I never made less than 80k while in education. I have close friends that left BISD to coach in Houston and it was an extreme pay increase, not to mention most programs pay coaches for working Speed and Strength in the summer. I agree with a lot of what BMT Truth is saying, firing the AD does nothing. The entire system in BMT is flawed from admin on down that's just the harsh reality & anyone who coaches there that knows any better will tell you this.

Not at all…Scheme has never been Stump’s problem he has one of the best offensive schemes in all of high school football! Atascocita has a physicality problem vs NS because of the difference in the type of kids between the two schools. Stump is an offensive genius…only reason this game was even hyped up was because Cita beat a bad Katy team. But those who follow Katy & other 6A schools closely like myself, then you would’ve seen this coming for Katy. The senior group at Katy only won 3 games when they were freshman not to mention half of Katy’s defense moved to Katy Jordan when Katy ISD redrew the lines to ensure Katy continues to go D2 in the next realignment.

Nah they’re not sitting anyone…Desoto is missing it’s best player BTW! Diff in this game is Desoto finally has kids in the trenches who can match DV upfront & when DV can’t out athlete you they in trouble. Cause they don’t do anything special from a schematics standpoint

Huh?? What kids did I disparage? My statement was about the difference in the culture of the two programs (which plays a huge part in the outcome of the game) not sure what you’re talking about. BTW I’ma proud Beaumont native & BISD product…I would think I can have an opinion on a place I grew up & attended school! Most of you that comment on here about BISD never lived in Beaumont, attended school there or have kids that attend BISD.

No this game had nothing to do with coaching...it's a big difference when you're coaching a bunch of suburb kids vs a bunch of kids who walk to school everyday & on free lunch lol
