Desoto is a D1 team who went down to D2 & won state. And DV beat a NS team who had a WR at QB. Imagine if Atascocita was able to go play D2 lol

No they not…that district has two teams. Cedar Hill nor Waxachie would make the playoffs in 21-6A. Cedar Hill made the playoffs at 5-5 lol

Correct, this senior group went 3-6-1 when they were freshman so them losing this early don’t surprise me at all. Another thing a lot of folks fail to realize is that Katy has had most of their success in the D2 bracket which is huge step down in competition level compared to the D1 bracket. Hence why Katy ISD recently redrew the lines to ensure Katy goes D2 from here on out.

Anddddd Cy-Fair just beat Katy in the 2nd round, Katy hasn't lost this early in the playoffs since 2001. Not surprising though this is the worst Katy team I've ever seen.

Def true, Houston area coaches that coach two sports average around 75-80k a year. Coordinators are around 90-100k, that link you posted holds no weight and is very inaccurate. When i was at NS the starting salary was 60k(probably higher now) coaches get paid a stipend plus a certain amount of days for each sport they coach. I never made less than 80k while in education. I have close friends that left BISD to coach in Houston and it was an extreme pay increase, not to mention most programs pay coaches for working Speed and Strength in the summer. I agree with a lot of what BMT Truth is saying, firing the AD does nothing. The entire system in BMT is flawed from admin on down that's just the harsh reality & anyone who coaches there that knows any better will tell you this.
