This will be for at least a share of the district championship, both 4-0 coming into this game. Raiders will be coming into Bear stadium focused and ready to play. Going with the Raiders for the win.

Last I saw Palestine is projected #4 seed, CH /Kilgore #1&2, Lindale #3.

After next weeks games playoff’s match ups will start to be clearer.

Even though I think Tigers will take this one, I expect a good game. Both teams will need to keep from having multiple turnovers and costly penalties. Should be some good matchups all over the field. The weather will not be a factor in this one.

If you look up Raiders on Max Preps it has a video of top 5 plays from around the state on it. # 1 play was acrobatic move of Lumberton’s linebacker Easton Stapleton. What it doesn’t show is that he did it twice in a row.

The character of that young man and his family is top notch. He may make plays that stand out but it is not about showing out, it is about the desire to give 100% and his God given talent just stands out.

The good thing about the Raiders they are improving, they have not reached their peak yet. Coaches made some positive changes during the season. As long as they stay focused on each game and not looking ahead they will win district.

Hmmm, think 🤔 it would be a good thing to just let the Stangs play their season out, let all this wait until after football season is over. Support the young men as they represent their school.

Special teams looking good also. Kicker hit field goals from 45 & 42 last Friday.

Expect Raiders to stay focused on Huffman and take care of business. Offense coming together and is healthy. Defense is really settling in.

HF is a solid team, Tigers will have to earn this one.
