Didn't say it wasn't a big blow. But the Mustangs are used to overcoming adversity. What I said is it will not change tomorrow nor will it change what we do in district. Nor will it define this team. I hate what happened to Chase but he was not "the" leader of that team, he was "a" leader, and there are others who are still there.

Oh no doubt it's a huge blow. However, this team is a lot more talented than people think. Things have gotten a little more tougher. I'll just say that I won't be surprised if they do exactly what they said they would do. That's make it to state.

What do you mean by this statement! For the person that said HJ wins district now, I guess you forgot that defense wins championships! Our kids play every game 112% and what happened today is not only a loss for the team but a loss for the player! He is a good kid that has made some very wrong decisions! How would all of you look if you were chastised for the things that you have done wrong in life! I pray for him because I'm sure he is distraught right now but in the end they are still kids and we all make mistakes ! DT doesn't have 4.3 speed or even 4.5 speed for that matter. He has something all colleges want. Great ball skills, great coverage (man and zone), not afraid to hit and is as smart as they come in the secondary. Nick Saban knows a thing or two about dbs. Seeing as 9 have been drafted into the NFL since his tenure at Bama.

That's the opinion of all parents and kids who are not ranked. Deionte is 6'2, 180. I promise you he can go to any program in SETX and do what he has done ever since he was a sophomore.
