  1. I'll have to agree with that. I have only seen Rice's stats, I have not seen them actually play.
  2. They are not as good, I'll stick by that. Again, strength of schedule.
  3. Strength of schedule. They did give up 50+ to LSA which is by far better than anyone EC has faced and it is not even close. They will face each other next week so it will be interesting to see. I've seen both teams play and I'll say Anahuac by 20+. Kirbyville felt good about their 3-1 record before last week also. They also had not played anyone tough outside of Bridge City. The EC/Anahuac rivalry always makes for a good time.
  4. I agree. It should definitely be a 3-team race for district but not sure anyone can stop Anahuac’s defense right now, though. They are absolutely smothering teams. I haven’t seen the same out of the other two.
  5. Nope, much more to it than that. But it doesn't matter now.
  6. Do you know the story? Hopefully you do with a comment like that.
  7. HJ to Anahuac? SETX baseball is a tight-knit world, I heard there were some other issues as well. Hopefully he leaves the alleged stat-padding, offspring-privileged approach in HJ. To be nice, I did say alleged.
  8. What Bennett left them? The team produced in spite of the coaching the last couple of years. The coaching that won Anahuac games took place outside of the high school. Trust me. The new coach will produce because of the time and effort he is putting into the boys. I believe that Anahuac finishes 3 or 4 in district as well.
