Going to get rough for LCM, just like with Vidor last year. This Kilgore squad is legit. Think they play for a title again this year.

Our defense has not improved in 5 weeks… offense im not worried about, but if defense cant stop anything with a pulse the offense gets handicapped hard, you cant win games giving up an average of 50 PPG

Anddd i think this season will end the dubois era at vidor. Time to tear down and restart. Get some young blood in and hype the program back up

I left got tired of being eaten by bugs, so ill be monitoring here and DCTF for scoring updates lol offense hasnt looked bad but the defense is gonna get dubois in trouble, having to score every single possession is almost impossible

Defensive staff needs to be ran out of town. I forsee a longgggg year, and a changing of the flags in the off season.

I got faith that things will get sorted. If im wrong i am wrong, but we will see how it looks at seasons end. Could be very wrong but i dont think a new scheme and new coach will just magically fix things. Do i think the scheme needs tweaking? Sure, always open to adjustments and changes, but i can tell you its not just “bad coaching”. The kids are soft, and if things are going to get right they need to step up and make it happen. Until then no coach will have any better success. But nobody wants to have that conversation. Easy route is blame coaches instead of the kids not taking it seriously. Make fun of the workouts that are the same as Jeffs? look i by no means think a change isnt needed In some facet of the program. Regardless of the state of the program ill be there supporting. At some point you have to look at it as maybe the product on the field isnt purely from a lack of coaching. Always been in agreement that program numbers are struggling, but if the schoolboard makes a change is up to them, all us fans can do is complain, and if they listen to us they do, if they dont then we are stuck with what we got. All we can do is see what happens this year and see if a change is made in the offseason or not

Not saying they arent, Im just saying not everything is fault of the coaches, but the coaches will get the blame its the name of the game, if you win youre loved, if you lose youre hated Vidor also played 2 top 10 teams of 4aD2 in non district. Anyone who was expecting a 3-0 start is delusional. played silsbee tough, and HF. the outlier was santa fe, and maybe they are way better than people expect? Idk anything about them Focus is on district now, and have a bye week before LCM to keep working the kinks out and see what we look like then. If we miss the play offs entirely i fully expect something to happen, if we struggle all district long then there will probably be some tough conversations had, but we wont know anything until years over Anyways. Young team, things could click and we could win district, or we could continue to be hit or miss and place 5th. Its an unknown right now

Bro all you do is just whine about coaches as if coaches are the problem. Yeah i may not be a fan of Dubois all the way, but i can assure you he isnt an idiot, and knows what hes doing. I can promise you adjustments are made all game, sometimes the talent isnt there yet. We are loaded with sophomores, who in time will get bigger and stronger. theres plenty i wish different about the scheme but you have no idea how complex the slot t actually is, and how many different formations and variations of plays there are. Not everything is on the coaches as much as you wish it to be A new scheme wont change anything. We dont have the size to run the spread 99% of the time. Have you seen the current line try to pass block 8-10x a game? Imagine that 30-40x a game. Until you come up with something other than “oh what would Kilgore do against us?” (Which btw would be what they would do to 99% of the state with the team they have this year beating gilmer 66-6)Argument, or rah rah rah coaches need firing bc we dont do this or that when you realistically have no clue whats going on. Respectfully.

Vidor LCM and Lumby with tough pre season. I think huffman takes it Vidor/lcm/lumberton/bc and livingston are all play off teams fighting for 3 spots. Lcm gets QB back they will be better. BC im unsure of? Lumberton is a surprise for sure Vidor played HF tough and is improving every week. Young o line may be finally coming together (defense still not good as of yet) livingston was my dark horse to start the year im gonna go on a limb and say 1.) Huffman 2.) Vidor/LCM/BC 3.)
