Watching it live on Bellvillesports.com, Bellville is far from what I thought they were. I understand that Hitchcock is a great team, but Bellville looks unimpressive and that’s putting it mildly. Overhyped might we say? -
Woodville (39) @ Coldspring-Oakhurst (14) - FINAL

Exactly and I’ve yet to figure out the root cause of it all. Smart, clean, disciplined football will get this team far especially with the amount of talent that they have. It’s baffling to say the least! -

What a coincidence that you have brought this up. The autograph signing will commence exactly 2 hours prior to the start of the scrimmage. The line will be as long as the distance from Woodville to Newton. You should plan on arriving at approximately 12 noon or even tailgate overnight.

Until Fig Newton is dethroned (in football), their fans have every right to compare the team to swift gazelles, flexible ballerinas, strong oxen, high flying trapeze artists, etc. Although strange, it’s their “constitutional rights”🤣. Of course, this is my humble opinion!

I assume because the previous QB and coach is back at the helm? I have no clue what Woodville will look like this year, but I don't see the Huac winning this game if (big if) Woodville can limit their QB and offense from running (and throwing) up and down the field, but may the best team (or best that night) win. All in all, let's pray that it's a clean game with no major injuries on either side.

Woodville

I second that

Let’s all pray that this upcoming season will be a great one and that all players will stay as healthy as possible. We all know (or should) that we’re talking about kids so no matter what team that you support, to ensure that we’re being as encouraging and uplifting as we can be as grown (oftentimes immature) adults. Staying true to the subject topic, it should be a competitive game against Woodville & Fig Newton. I’d venture to say that the winner of this game will most definitely be crowned the district champs.

I would have thought that the preseason games would be a bit "tougher". No disrespect to THE ORANGE MEN Or Coldsping; however, I guess we shall see. The games are played in between the lines and certainly not on a sports forum!

Yep that could be incorrect

lol Wville doesn’t even respect themselves
-
Having the most athletes (Woodville) means absolutely nothing when you’re playing against a sound team like Columbus. Teams like the red birds don’t beat themselves
-
Yep…bad things typically happen when you’re on the half yard in a wishbone formation and toss the ball
-
Yes they are. They can’t score unfortunately
-
Typical Woodville
-
It’s not like Woodville is capable of making halftime adjustments and even if they did, it won’t make a difference
-
Final score will be 63-7 🤷🏾‍♂️

Looks like I may have to drive down to Arlington and watch Fig at ATT
-
I will say that I’m impressed with Woodville’s PAT and kicking game
-
It’ll be a tall task for Woodville in this game. Hoping for an injury free matchup on both sides. Maybe Woodville can get out of their own way and keep the penalties to a minimum and the coaching staff will have an AHA Moment and call plays that gives them a fighting chance to pull off an upset (I’ll believe it when I see it). All in all, only time will tell but honestly, give me the Red 42-21.
