If this was back in the era depicted in "hoosiers" when all teams played one another, no matter the size of enrollment, I don't think Silsbee would go far. The movie wouldn't of been made. I saw the Tigers vs 6A Hightower. They missed a lot of easy lay ups, they missed dunks, they turned the ball over too much and they lost. Hightower is not even ranked. That tells me this Silsbee team would not be a top five 6A team. Meanwhile 4A # 3 brazosport has beaten Hightower twice. I don't know exactly what that means other than don't take b'port lightly if you get to play them in the State tournament. Back in 2009/2010 Yates was in 4A, which is 5A now. They went 30-0. They played the top teams all over the country. The fact that they would win the 4A state championship was a foregone conclusion. They were the # 1 team in the nation that season. There wasn't a 5A (now 6A) texas team that could handle Yates. That was a transendent team, the type of team you see maybe once in a lifetime. So, a smaller team competing, really competing against larger schools has been done before. Silsbee could catch a 6A team napping here or there. I don't think they would go far in the 6A playoffs though.

I hate to harp on the same things, but If the current Silsbee team were better at creating their own shot, off the dribble and if they shot free throws better and cut down on turn overs, they could possibly compete against any 6A team. This team is talented but it doesn't do all the things mentioned, not consistently. If they were 6A they would run into teams with 6'9" posts, or taller, and guards who are going D-1, and long and tall forwards that can run and rebound. This is all fantasy though. Just win 4A. I'm good with that.

Silsbee could make noise in the playoffs if they were 5A. However 6A basketball is very strong at the top. I don't think Silsbee could hang in 6A on a consistant basis.

If you listen closely enough they will tell you that they plan to rule the world. They want to rule the world now, because they once ruled it before. There is nothing new under the sun.

It was prophesied, in the bible that the USA would have a prominent role in end time events. This prophecy was fore told centuries, before this country existed. Rightly understood it is an astoundingly accurate account of world history. Prophecy is just history in advance. Of the two prophecy is more accurate. Man can manipulate history and current events. God's prophecies can not be manipulated. They can be inaccurately interpreted, but they cannot be altered. I am no expert on this topic. I've been exposed to it most of my life. I know for a fact that it is the most accurate, and relevant body of knowledge mankind has ever known, or will know. It is much bigger than conservative vs liberal. The true God is so all encompassing that he is both conservative & liberal, in ways that are beyond man's definition of those terms. In many respects Obama, Hillary & Trump are on the same page.

What does the size of a crowd have to do with policy? Good question. That didn't stop thin skinned Trump from turning it into a major issue.

People on the right, only see and hear what they want to see and hear. There is plenty of stupidity in the form of comments being generated by Trump and his followers, but you choose to ignore that. Instead you search for something from the 'other side' to stew over. The whole presidential campaign was like that, on both sides.

The fact that Conroe HS beat College Park by 17, 82 to 65 is shocking somewhat. Q Grimes scored a pedestrian 23 pts for college park.

That's the proverbial question riding in the back of my mind as I read through out this thread. Still, good win Tigers. This could be the year. Much respect to WOS for all they have accomplished.
