I couldn't figure out who the Jones was you were referring to. Now I know, Jayce Jones. Yes the team could definitely use him. He talks as though he is coming back. The Silsbee formula: little dribblers has a lot to do with it. There is a good supply of athletes. Coach Sigler's approach to the game fits well with the other two factors.

I hated to see Baltrip and Gilder go, but that's how that thing works. Somebody has to step up.

I saw a few Silsbee games on texan live when they started out. I'm guessing they are now cutting the smaller schools out of their budget.

NFHS is bad. Texan Live is even worse.

It was on there earlier. I copied and pasted what I saw. That's on them. I'm no magician. I guess they have changed their minds about showing this game.

I saw them both in person back in November. Yates is young. Silsbee is too. Yates is probably playing better. Hard to tell.

Coming from Houston Channelview is closer but harder to find, even with gps. Last game I saw there Devon McCain was a freshman. They played and beat Houston Sterling.

When nobody posts that's usually a bad sign.

Furr's defense is a lot like Silsbee's. Probably no coincidence. Silsbee put up a 40 piece win on Furr during the championship years. Question: how deep is Furr's bench?

The old high school which is the current jr high school, that is where I went to HS. I've never been to the newest high school. The Jr high school was further North. Next to it is the football field I saw home games at. I'm guessing that Jr high school has been torn down. I hear they still play basketball in that old gym. Next time I am in Silsbee I will try to drive around over there and see for myself.

Play the game but this is just going through the motions. FFA got a post player who is 6'10" 225. During the season I guess, he grew to 6'11" 255. He was eating something in the video, literally. He is class of '24 so he is a sophomore. In one video they gave him the ball in the post and he just pushed his way in and slammed. The guy guarding him couldn't do nothing about it. They have 4 or 5 more guys who are tall and athletic in their own way.

It's not just coverage. it is that big city teams can do what they want. They collude during off season. Transfer protocol is much easier than it has ever been. A coach can put together a state team in no time. You let some 6'8" wing men with a jumpers show up in Silsbee & see what happens.

IK Ik. I'm looking for an angle. Tryna work up some righteous anger. Maybe not anger but some strong partisanship in favor of the Silsbee Tigers.

Silsbee has beaten HISD schools many times. They beat Sheldon ISD (channel view, summerset, CE King, BT Washington?) Cy Fair ISD teams, Brazosporrt teams. Still no respect. A lot of BT Washington players transferred from CE King, and Humble. That's why they put homeboy on talking about his family are alumni. Slick.

Whether they win the region remains to be seen. If Washington goes to state they got to take the championship from FFA. I don't see that happening.

I saw Yates once this year back in November, the Wednesday before thanksgiving. I saw WOS twice on streams when they played Silsbee. Yates has probably gotten better since then. Still I think the game will be a toss up.
