  1. BU could beat them no doubt, but teams like Mad & SOC play against so many talented teams on a weekly basis. I doubt seriously if they are overawed.
  2. I remember Silsbee lost to a Dallas team. I thought it was Lincoln, but it could have been Madison. Guard Philbrick Hill was on that Silsbee team. A picture of him and some Dallas player was on the cover of a UIL magazine.
  3. 6'9' 215 LBS. He should be wrecking some stuff.
  4. Did that 6'9" guy Christian Dews play for Westbrook when Silsbee beat them? How did that happen?
  5. I could be wrong but I think Silsbee plays either SOC or CE King Friday @ 730pm. I saw CE King vs Goose Cry Mem. They are good. SOC is a legendary program, like Madison.
  6. This Silsbee Tiger team does not like to lose.
  7. pg # 1 for Madison has very good handles.
  8. Dallas Madison vs SFA score?
  9. It's Thursday morning in Beaumont. Everybody is either at work or at school.
  10. I'lm glad you brought that up. I have noticed that HJ has been playing strong b ball this season. Also wins by Orangefield and HF suggest district and regional will not be a cake walk. Silsbee is playing such a strong schedule until you can't take your mind off whose next and look down the road. The next Silsbee vs HJ match up should be a good game.
  11. If it doesn't kill ya it'll make you stronger, the old saying goes. Who knows? Maybe an efficient and very good slow down team, like Argyle, catches FF napping in the playoffs.
  12. Back in the day when Beaumont had Central & Ozen a good Silsbee team could and did run the table in the golden triangle. Now, with most of the talent headed to BU it is next to impossible to pull that off again. P.S Living in the past, I miss Devon McCain pulling a rebound and then coming down hill center court, with superior passing skills, throwing dimes to either Bush or Jay5. Or he'd take it to the hole himself. At the high school level that was very potent stuff.
  13. D Mad is not a small town SE Tx in the woods 3A team. They are smack dab in the middle of sneaky DISD. They're prolly stock piling all stars like FF.
  14. Lots of Silsbee b ball action for fans in the Silsbee/Beaumont area tomorrow, provided work and school don't get in the way.
  15. Watch out for 3A D Madison.
  16. I wsa born in Kountze, that's about it.
  17. Enjoy the match up when it happens. Don't bet the next direct deposit on the Tigers winning.
  18. The home team should get the benefit of the schedule you would think. D Madison plays at 10iam & 6pm.
  19. Miller at pg is a nice situation.
  20. Harris is on tonight. He's smooth as butter. If somebody says he is 6'4" I'd believe them.
  21. Someone new needs to step up and learn to narrate and commentate on the live basketball action.
  22. Like I said when he is or was on he was on. When he helped send Yates home, he was definitely on. There are a lot of basketball greats who are inconsistent shooters. Jerry West comes to mind. That kid the Rockets just drafted Jalen Green. One game he hits 8 threes. The next game he is 2 for 9.
  23. I saw Braylon Bush play several times. If I count the times I saw him on stream even more than that. Brae was and is a streak shooter. When he is on he is on. He can hit shots from anywhere inside the half court line. And then when the defense goes out to stop him he drives in for buckets. Conversely when he was off he clanked his fair share of misses. I was at the last game of the big three: Brae, Devon and Jay, against Yates. Braylon was off. Jay was too. and they lost. Wesley Yates III has a smoother, more conventional and more consistent jump shot form. No knock on Brae. It just is what it is.
