All of this has happened before. These are not totally uncharted waters. The church is not trying to claim world domination, rather she is trying to reclaim world domination. She knows where she is trying to go and how to get there because she has been there before.

The Catholic Church is unique in a lot of ways. One of those ways is the fact that it is both a church and a state or country. If you listen and read what they say and believe they are the mother church. All other churches and religious organizations have to be under their control, or else. Not only do they claim rulership over all churches and religious institutions, they also claim and believe they have ultimate temporal power as well. IOWs all civil power should be in their control. As a state the Vatican has ambassadors in most countries, all the important countries. All the important countries, most countries, have ambassadors at the Vatican. So whether you are catholic or not you are involved. Your civil liberties are at stake.

When td jakes or some other well known author writes a book you conservative evangelicals are all over it. But if some else puts out a book you got something to say. All the prophecy I've mentioned comes from the book. If it doesn't come from the Bible it is not about anything. They say that 1 out of every 25 verses is about the 2nd coming. There are no 1st day prophets.

Somebody is reading what I post. I am not preaching, just speaking on what I know. As far as what I have a clue about, man, they got scores of books out there on this subject. More are being written everyday. What I got to say barely touches the surface.

There is no political solution to the problems this country and this world faces. Trump doesn't have a solution. He is the problem. The democrats don't have a solution either. Jesus is coming back and that is the solution. Why do I say that? Lemme see, where do I start? We have growing social unrest. Wars and rumors of wars. Total distrust among the most power nations in terms of military strength. the anti christ who received a deadly wound in 1798 is almost fully recovered from that wound and that is not a good thing. It helps to know who the anti christ is. I've tried to explain but nobody here listens. You will one day.

The whole voter ID thing is just a political football to be kicked around far as I can tell. I worked in a dps driver license office for 18 or so years, until I retired the end of last May. Your TDL or Texas ID is enough ID to vote, provided you are a registered voter. Texas has stringent documentation requirements to get an DL or ID.. They have a special EC card or election card that they issue. The same documentation is needed to get that card. So, if you have the documentation to get the EC card you might as well get a Texas ID. DL is a little harder cause you have to pass a written & driving test. Every time there was an election coming up the supervisors would as for volunteers to come in on Saturday mornings and they would process the EC cards then. The people who volunteered told me they seldom did anything because no one would show up. All this was in the pre pandemic days. Now it is very hard to get into a driver license office unless you have made an appointment in advance.

Save time & go to Popeyes across the street. That parking lot and drive thru line at the new Frenchy's is terrible.

Organized sports may or may not survive. It feels surreal just saying that, but it is true. Maybe scientists will turn the corner and control covid 19, and maybe they will not. They disease has killed at least 500 teens. The numbers are probably higher than that. I've seen videos of AAU teams going at it while wearing masks. Just driving around with a mask in hard to do.. I can't imagine playing 5 on 5 with a mask on. I am for wearing masks in public, but I doubt if they are effective on the basketball court. I watched the Astros at KC Royals the other day. As expected the public wasn't allowed in the stadium. The NBA is starting the season up doing the same thing, no fans in the stands. That works for now as organized sports as well as everyone else adjusts to new ways to live with the pandemic. I don't think ultra high sports salaries and empty stadiums can coexist very long. Something has got to give.

I've never seen the flu shut down all organized sports.
