NO divisiveness is solely the fault of Trump. You are just too brainwashed to see it.
-
The 3 divisions of government is in a shambles. American foreign policy is laughed at. The constitution is almost totally being repudiated. Divisiveness is at an all time high. The only reason for stability right now is the fact that God has a message He wants to get out. The last message. The angels are holding back the winds of strife. When they let go look out.

you denounce my people I denounce yours. That's how it rolls in this august forum.

Carson became famous because he had help in the form of food stamps, affirmative action etc. Then when he gets big time, he works hard to burn the bridges so nobody else can follow him.
-
so would you hypocrite.

What agenda that is working? Deficit at an all time high. Dollar based on smoke & mirrors. This whole economy is going to crash hard. mean while Mr 'art of the deal', among other things is being called a dotard by his henchman buddy in N Korea, and he now refers to him as rocket man. Am I supposed to 'look past my nose and endorse that madness?

Only so much black politicians can do because the rich whites in the suburbs have choked them off.

I first heard of Dr Carson around 1985. That was about 35 years ago. Do the math. He was/is a Seventh Day Adventist christian. Most adventists, especially black 7th day adventists knew who he was. Most white conservatives didn't know or cared to know him back then. They didn't start riding his jock strap until much later when he told off their arch enemy President Barack Obama at that "prayer breakfast". In 1987 or '88, somewhere back then he came through Houston on a book tour for his first book Gifted Hands. I just knew he would visit one of the inner city SDA churches and preach or lecture or something like that. Instead he showed up, on the Sabbath day, and spoke at another non denomination church not far away. The name of the church was The Shrine of the Black Madonna. I started having my doubts about him then. It was not racism or Uncle Tom ism, or what ever clown show epithet you want to use. It was much deeper and complex than that. Hard to explain. Politically speaking I don't have any faith in Dr Carson and his political beliefs & agenda. Same for the democrats. Personally I think this country is circling the drain. It is unfortunate but true.

95% of whites can't see beyond their noes. That is why this country / this world is as jacked up as it is.

I could of made it to that game. OH well. -
Last time I saw Sam Houston was 2 years ago when pg Kendrick Davis was still there. Whatever success they had then was mainly because of him. He's gone, at SMU now I think. The talent around him is gone also. Sam Houston is a public school like Silsbee, so they rebuild gradually. Any tall talent around they have to fight the private schools to get it. I knew before the game Silsbee would have problems with STH because the latter is an established and prosperous private school. They always have tall and decent talent. The jamboree game at 830 between SA Wagner & shadow creek out of Pearland, that is gonna be a good matchup. I am almost tempted to go out & see it, but I don't feel up to dealing with the parking and crowds.
-
Whe I saw Silsbee Wednesday there was one young guy who didn't suit up. He is the biggest guy on the team right now. I guess that is Jones.

74 69 Houston Sam Houston won. Brae Bush had 45 pts.

A season or so ago, when Silsbee had one of their best teams ever, I saw them beat STH and Westbury Christian. One of those Westbury guys, Charles Smith IV is a freshman at SMU. The other Slazinski is a Frosh at Louisville. The difference is a team like Silsbee had comes along every so often. Where as private schools are out recruiting & bringing in good talent and building good teams almost every year. The old paradigm where you town or areas best, played my town or areas best is gradually fading away. It could easily be said that it is not happening gradually, but at a rapid rate.

I saw United vs Dickinson. That game had a playoff feel to it. United is a versatile team. They ran with Dickinson. They can trap & press, run, all that. At crunch time they slowed it down played zone. With those long arms stretched out they were not easy to score on. They put the ball in the QB pg Kasen. Dude is built like a running back. Dickinson came at him physical but he just shook it off. Back in the day legend coach Gamble won some state championship games with the score in the 40s. PA Lincoln under him didn't just run all the time. Coach Green does the same thing when he needs to. His teams can run and press (Sigler) or they can slow it down and win a close game. They can be beat. Any top team in Texas 6A can lose if you play them just right. Some team knocking off United in the playoffs will not be easy.

Him & # 23 for St Thoms had some words. 23 for STH was a big dude with an attitude to match. Silsbee was setting up for charges & he was bulling through them. More often than not the refs were calling blocking instead of charging. They were rolling with the team in control. Nothing came of any of that though.

Welp. Yates is not as good as they were in 2009-2010, obviously. We can put that notion to rest. I should have stayed for that game. Yates' guards looked very good against Morton Ranch. I forgot that MR's high ranking really doesn't mean that much. If a team is going to eat humble pie now is the time to do it. Yates looked good to me, when I saw them, as a region III class 4A team. Beyond that who knows? Faith Family comes to mind. If none of those powerhouse teams in Dallas are 4A then whatever happens is just a learning lesson.

How to say this nicely. If you are short & not very big and you can't get the rebounds that is one thing. You can't coach height. But, if your premier pg dishes you a perfect pass and you are all by yourself and you miss multiple times that is something else. It is good that you came out for the team and helped fill out a roster, but maybe basketball is really not your thing.
-
Sticking around cause who knows when another guard / player like Bush comes around in Silsbee again.
-
72 40
-
Brae firing in some perfect passes, potential assists but they miss.
-
58 27
-
Sth taking turns pulling down the rebounds taking turns shooting the shots. 44-23 half.

Worth the money just to watch Bush
