One of the last times I was in the Campbell I saw Carmelo A play as a Sr in high school.

I saw it somewhere, but I can't find it again. It'll pop up. Carter is on one side. Silsbee & Wagner are on the other side. I didn't see any really good teams in that tournament, but my knowledge of the teams is limited. The winner of the Silsbee side could very well play Carter for the tourney championship. Oh yeah, Carter would have to beat Atascosita to win their side. That is no easy task.

In the So San Antonio Tournament Silsbee would have to meet up and go through Wagner to maybe play Dallas Carter.

I plan to watch how this up coming season unfolds for Silsbee. They have a chance to do something rare. Stiff competition coming out of Dallas, Argyle, etc. I will deal with next season, & the one after that when it gets here.

Rankings are important, but then again, they are not. Same goes for their accuracy.

We live 25 miles in to the North, but go to church in that area. I was in service there yesterday. Then I was there again at 730am this morning helping mow grass. I may go back for a revelation seminar at 7pm this evening. I like that part of town, but it is too far South. I know exactly where Dawson high school is located.

Did coach Danny Green play for Coach Sigler at Silsbee? I think he did, but I was away in the military during that era. If he did then his team probably plays the same defense and tempo. I don't think I've ever actually watched one of Coach Green's teams play.

I was a bit apprehensive when Silsbee faced Yates last season when they had Jacque Hughes, and Mitch Ser..., but they pulled through. That's history. Yates's Ruben Jones is now 6'4". They got some more players coming back. First game of the season. Hard to tell what BU will look like. Nice run for the beginning of the season.

Dickinson v Morton Ranch might be a good game. I won't be there though. Maybe I can catch the 2nd half of the Yates v BU game, just to see what each one of them looks like this season. I think this is BU's first game ever. Concordia v PA Memorial, not bad. Eisenhower v Klein Forest, should be a good game. Most of the students in this area I live in go to one of those schools or the other. Silsbee v SG? As Hoops said, if Silsbee manages to keep this game interesting that would be impressive. Didn't let the 4A trophies totally fool ya, when u get on the court with teams like SG, Wagner, etc, you are tryna stomp with the big dawgs. Thankful for the back to back trophies just the same. Three would be even nicer.

Another tough Argyle team on the horizon. No Kountze in the top 25. Atascocita not in the 6A rankings; something is wrong with that.

It is about who is listening and who is not. There are those who are listening in every church; and those who are not. For example: jhn 10: 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

The sabbath is not just a seventh day adventist belief. It is everyone's sabbath, everyone's command to obey or disobey. It is a deep subject; maybe the # ! issue in the world. Are you going to honor God by keeping His commandments, especially the 4th, or are you going to obey satan and the beast by honoring Sunday, and thus get the mark of the beast.

Famous folks who grew up adventist: Prince. You can hear a lot of adventist thought in his lyrics. Magic Johnson. I saw & heard Magic's mom speak on the subject at a church in Houston. She is still adventist. Malcolm X. The singer Brian Mc Knight. The basketball player Bob Lanier grew up adventist So did slain NFL safety Sean Taylor. Senator Ted Cruz' wife is adventist. Republican senator from Arizona, the late Stump Mitchell was adventist. Congress woman Sheila Jackson Lee is adventist, and belongs to my church. I see her often. Judge Mathis grew up adventist. The Rapper Phife Dog, the Isley brothers, and many more.

I buy gas. My church is 25 miles away, on the other side of Houston. My wife likes to eat out on the sabbath; I don't care for it. She usually wins. I seldom go to places like the mall. There is a lot to do on the sabbath. Why mess it up with mundane stuff you can do the other six days.

The bible interprets itself. The term mark of the beast is in the bible. So It can be understood by studying the bible. The adversary counterfeits everything God sets up. God has a seal or mark. The other side has a counterfeit seal or mark. So, you study God's seal to find the counterfeit. Just like you study a real $100.00 dollar bill to find a fake one.
