If you prefer a more indirect approach, Houston NOI leader minister Robert Mohammad has a weekly radio program called connect the dots on KFPT. I don't know when it airs. I seldom listen to it. I am sure they take call in guests.

Obviously somebody likes what he says and does. Similarly there are people in this country who like and support Farrakhan. Personally I don't pay attention to him. How many times do I have to say that? Farrakhan is african american, and so am I. that's about all we have in common. Everyone on this board is from SE Texas i assume. You're not that far from Houston Tx. The NOI, which is Farrakhan's organization, has members and meeting places in this city. Don't do anything stupid. Why don't you arrange to meet with his people. You can discuss with them your likes and dislikes about the man. Copying and pasting what he has said and done here on this msg board doesn't do any good.

Ok, so they have african americans that support Trump. There are relatively few of them, but they have the right to choose to support him if they want to. That doesn't persuade me one way or another. There have always been african americans on the other side of the ledger. When america fought the british some sided with the british. During the civil war some sided with the South. when Jesus comes back some will be among the slain that stay here with the devil, and on and on. Nothing new here, and really nothing new to see.

Your rejection of Jesus is reflected by the sin you commit. A person cannot willfully sin and have a saving relation with the Lord. For example, a bank robber comes to Christ, and repents. He or she cannot continue to rob banks and still have a saving relationship with the Lord. It doesn't work like that.

Counting such a percentage is a waste of time. I could die prematurely as a result of bad health choices, or I could go to the local convenience store and get shot in a black on black crime,

Does it really matter? I don't think so. Racism is not the only sin. A person can go to hell for stealing, for lying, for cheating. They can go to hell for murder. A person can go to hell for blaspheming God. The list goes on and on. When a person dies the second death, and is burned and consumed in hell fire that is the ultimate punishment. It doesn't matter what sin you commit to get to that point. That's why I dont'focus exclusively on racism.

The alt right leaders extol Hitler on a regular basis. Farrakhan is definitely not alone in that respect. Racism does not surprise me. I grew up around covert racism. Sometimes it was open and right in your face. It is like poisonous snakes. You don't see them everyday, but you know they are out there. Racism permeates american history. Manifest destiny, the trail of tears, slavery, jim crow lynchings, certain dubious immigration practices. Farrakhan is a product of american history and culture. I don't follow him. I don't condone what he says. I'm not surprised either.

Farrakhan speaks his mind. There's a lot of truth in what he says. I haven't fact checked him, for those clocking what I am saying. In some respects Farrakhan and Trump are alike.

Guns and rampant mental illness. That's not a good mix. I often think to myself that people should put forth an effort to maintain balance in their lives. Easier said than done. Guns are everywhere. Cameras are everywhere. I was at communion practice tonight (friday night). While the choir was practicing, and the deacons and elders were practicing for church tomorrow (actually later today) a tech was installing more cameras.

I'm thinking after next season, or the next he will retire. That's just me guessing.

I feel confident in the one I participate in. Man, I thought I knocked that out of the park. Oh well. It is a straight forward text, but people see and hear what they want to see and hear. I do, and I will.
