UIL & max sports said we play Seminole next.

As I've mentioned I watched Yates play Houston Christian at a tournament back in December. HC won by 9 or 10 pts. Three things I noticed during that game. Mitch, # 23?, kept going for the sensational play, the sensational dunk. He is 6'7" and very athletic, but in the course of a good game a player like that has to stay in flow of the game and if a good dunk or block comes his way then make it happen. I also noticed he did not have a go to move that could be relied on to score points, other than the dunk. Mind you, I'm no expert. I also noticed that Yates pressed and had a deep bench. Sahvir Wheeler and Miller Koop exploited that defense for quite a few back door points. Coach Wise was substittuting at will. He had like 17 players on the team. The refs were letting them play and i posted here, it's in the archives, that HC pg Sahvir Wheeler was getting mugged. I made a mental note to myself that the refs in the playoffs would probably call a tighter game, and in this game played today, the refs did call it closer. It made a big difference. They called the other game between Cy Falls and SA Wagner the same way. I thought for a moment or two a fight was going to break out in that particular game. Just the same, I tip my hat to all the Yates team, and to Coach Wise. Respect.

Lincoln beat Carter twice this season. It is hard to beat the same team three times in a row in a season.

We sing "lift every voice" at my church. I love that song. It is usually during February, but it sounds good anytime. I go to church; I seldom attend nba games in person. I can't afford the tickets. Hyphenated, un hyphenated it doesn't matter. America is not going to be here forever. Citizenship in heaven will be forever. Stuff that is so important now will be gone and forgotten. Yates looks like the team to win it all, but you still have to play the game. Silsbee just might surprise me. I don't have any money bet. At the end of the day it is still just fun and games, or a game called basketball.

Time to find out about Waco Connolly Friday at 8pm. Then deal with whatever after that.

That was at a tournament in North Texas, maybe Fort Worth. I think Liberty Hill had some height that season.

Waxahachie fell. Defending 5A champ Mansfield Timberview is gone as well. Who else is left?

Delmar parking lot was packed. I work two blocks from there. The game started at 6pm I didn't get fully checked out of work until 6:45pm. I thought about going but I didn't feel like paying full price for a partial game. I didn't think it was worth it. Wrong! Also I am fighting a cold or flu like symptoms. Bottom line I missed some good games at Delmar both Monday and Tuesday.

I kind of miss the old days when Silsbee was unknown and dissed the big city trolls. Rise up and make a name for your team by winning state and they want to ride your back, while also riding yates jock strap, like you stole som'n from them.

Concordia is the best shooting team I've seen in high school. Two or three of their players had perfect form, perfect spin on their shots. End result swoosh! HC reloaded from last year. They did it fast. I guess they target the players they want, then wave all the perks they have to offer under their noses and it worked. Not mad at 'em. A player has to be very very good to make big money playing basketball. Pursue the education first.

Somebody with an IOS device will probably air the game on periscope.

I don't know how it works. If someone put some $money on that, and it works, they'd make a lot of money

Argyle lost their top pg from last year. Maybe someone has stepped in and filled his place. Maybe not.

HC has a lot better team this season compared to last season.
