Un may not be able to launch a missile, but he does have who knows how much conventional artillery trained on Seoul. He also has a million man army. Once scenario suggests that when his vast army storms into S Korea and gets a look at a real modern society, they will all instantly desert. Prez Trump maybe on to something. Idk.

I'm not sure if he is bluffing. I do know if he does go to war he will be throwing Seoul Korea, Japan and the whole world's economy under the bus. If we go to war with N Korea and the latter manages to drop a bomb on Seoul or on the country of Japan the whole world's economy will collapse. It will very much be felt here in this country. It could also escalate into an all out nuclear night mare.

I don't watch sports programming as much as I used to. I can't remember the last time I sat down and paid attention to sports center on ESPN. I watch snippets of Texans highlights, or Rockets, or Astros, from time to time. Otherwise I catch a 30 for 30 when I can. I didn't even know ESPN was considered liberal until someone mentioned it.

I really do not think there is a military or political solution to problems like North Korea, or Iran. Whether they get the money or not, Iran is close allies to Russia and Russia under Putin is crazy. Life on this planet is very fragile these days. Personally I think the only real solution is the fact that Jesus Christ is coming back. More on that another time. That's how I really feel. There was a small plane crash last Tuesday. The pilot had engine problems after leaving Conroe heading to College Station. Long story short the plane crash landed and ended up up side down in a small pond, just North of Huntsville. I knew that guy. I can't lie & say we were ace buddies but I knew him. We served as deacons together at the same church. His name: Kermit Faulkner. He was a very dynamic person: he was an electrical engineer / computer engineer. He flew planes on the side. He flew small planes, jets. He recently got ratings to fly helicopters. Not only that he rode a Harley Motorcyle. He played the sax at church, and he wasn't bad at that either. Nice looking guy, charismatic good christian. Now he's gone. I don't question God about things like that, but wow. How does this all tie together? It does to me. Life is relatively short. We all need to get to know the Lord.

The USA is spoken of in bible prophecy. I wish I could break that down. I am no expert, but I now a little about the subject. So, if America has a note worthy place in prophecy perhaps it is because we over come N Korea. If the Trump administration somehow disarms the North Korean issue, and that's a big if, his administration will be revered to say the least.

Just my opinion You don't have to care about it. The feeling is mutual to be honest about it.

The US has been on shaky ground in Iran way before President Obama got out of college. The US backed up the dictator the Shah so that big oil could pump the oil fields there so folks in the usa could continue to drive their big cars and later SUVs. I'm sure the CIA was in there working their magic to keep that whole thing going. That scenario goes back decades, back to the 50s. Your blame it all on Obama rant is old and worn out.

Un has nuclear weapons & a million man army. He has who knows how much conventional artillery trained on Seoul, which is only 30 or 40 miles from the border. Seoul has a population of 26 million; around the metropolitan area 54 million. If N Korea starts bombing these people the death toll will be catastrophic. Meanwhile Trump is bluffing this guy by claiming he is sending an armada of US warships his way. In other words he is playing a game of high stakes chicken with millions of lives from S Korea, and perhaps billions across the globe. But that's your fearless leader. Mr 'make america great again' Yeah right. Believe what you want.

The common denominator is Trump. The current threat of nuclear war is directly link to him. As is all the other stuff mentioned.

I've made that assertion here before, and I backed it up before. -

Wow. Pilot crashed Tuesday the 25th, in pond 60 miles North of Huntsville. He was an electrical engineer, saxophone musician, fellow deacon at church, pilot, jet pilot. He recently told me he got his rating for helicopter pilot. That was a bad dude. He will be missed. -

The idea was stated here that the democratic party destroyed families, which has in turn led to the violence in cities like Chicago. My counter was and is that it goes back further than that. But, u know what was and wasn't said. Your goal is to obfuscate and go around and around in circles. -

Besides, the cia sells and distributes drugs in the inner city. That goes all the way back to Prez Reagan. It may even go back further than that. -

The point is violence in cities is not because of one political party. It goes deeper than that, all the way to slavery. -

By the same token people come here and use every twisted excuse they can get their hands on to berate those on the other end of the political spectrum. -

The institution of slavery destroyed families. Slave holders who were one party or another, rich & not so rich. Some slave holders were black, quite a few were white. That problem has been here since the antebellem era. -
Well said ST413. You expressed basically how I feel about all this. Changing slightly, pressing and trapping is as old as the peach basketball. Silsbee plays that style, and again it is not new, about as aggressively as anyone else. It is an up tempo style of play. Nothing personal, just basketball.

He might have, President Obama took out quite a few terrorists with predator drone strikes.

My perspectives on Ben Carson are more unique than a lot of others. I first heard of him maybe 25 years ago. We are both black Americans who are also members of the seventh day Adventist (SDA) church. Back then and now, the focus was not on politics, left or right, but on the belief in having a personal relationship with the soon returning Jesus Christ. I have often said that Dr Carson should have run for some lesser political offices and perhaps won, before he attempted to run for the Presidency. Politics is a nasty business on the left and on the right. IMO he wasn't prepared for dealing with politics in general.
