This is wrong headed IMO. The key term here is "student athlete." They aren't mutually exclusive and I think that is exactly the rub here. Coaches are stacking their teams with excuses. Sure lets assume that it's all fair and "it's just the way it is".. I want to see a report. I don't need names or schools necessarily. I just want to know how many, the whys and wheres, and whether the student is a starter. If what you say is as innocent as it sounds then the said report should reflect that. I want to understand why it's so awesome for everyone

I find this alignment season to be very suspect. Do you think Liberty Hill had something to do with it? I've heard ppl say that. But they're out so.. If what you say is true then too bad for them

I think those Neches River boys are still hungry. That game last Friday blew my mind. This MORON thought that PNG's season was over. But, the defense was in attack mode in the 2nd half and I knew that if PNG could run they would win. I honestly thought PNG would play catchup the entire game. The Damage, Inc. Defense + Clock Mgmt + Hunger is Dangerously effective. I'll take PNG -6.5. Calpreps has SOC by 14. That's better than last year. Stay hungry boys!

Iron Mike said everyone has a plan 'til they get punched in the mouth. The fumble by TH on the 1st possession and the TD PNG scored off it got them wobbly. Bailey and company then kept them off the field and wore the Tigers defense out. PNG even left about 12 points off the board with the fumble and missed fg/xps. Texas High has a great team and they can beat anybody.. they just got outplayed and outcoached last night.

Me too. I like a 4 year rotation. Houston and Dallas for sure but what about the other two? I like outdoor games because it's football not basketball and weather is usually a factor in one way or another.. an equalizer if you will. Houston, Dallas, Austin and Lubbock is what I like.

Texarkana looks alot like PNG. PNG was #1 when Ned won. Texarkana isn't as good as PNG. Nederland will win it! PNG is going to be practicing against a chump.

I'm sad that my boys got humbled but I'm also very happy that Ned is BACK! This season ain't over yet and I got friends that are gonna.. well, they're gonna be insufferable for a bit LOL. It was a really fun MCM and these boys left it all out there. Remember it forever and let's root for each other in the playoffs as far as we go!
