I know this is off subject. Why is BC considered a baseball school? I know they have won several DC, but never a state title. I not sure if they ever made it to the state tournament. I know one of the best players to play in BC finished is high school baseball at Barbe. Barbe is definitely a baseball school.

Sorry, yes I did mean quiet. Lot's of excitement each week around BC, just didn't seem as much after this week. I'm excited for them and hoping for an undefeated regular season. I do not believe BC has ever done this, not even when they won a state championship in the 60's. I am not saying they are going to win a state championship this year, just a chance to be undefeated before post season begins.

Why did BC fans get so quite after this game?

Not sure I can jump on that BC bandwagon just yet. They have played 3 teams with a combined record of 3-7. Best of luck to Coach Smalley and his team, he will get the best out of them. It would be nice to see them playing for a district championship.

Tim Erickson is a great coach and would do well where ever he coaches. His basic rules are tough and everyone has to buy in, including parents. Just to be clear, I'm not "y'all" as in being a Kountze fan. I'm from Orangefield, had 3 kids graduate from Orangefield, all 3 played sports at Orangefield. You spoke on the behalf of yourself, the coaches, the boys and the community of Orangefield, not sure why you felt the need to do so. As I stated, all that needed to be said was great job Bobcats, the rest of your comments is not Orangefield. Your son is a great player, let him be great on his on accord.
