Kountze will have another outstanding year, no doubt. Should make an easy run through district. How do you think HF will match up with BB players still playing football and Seastrunk no longer there.

I know this is off subject. Why is BC considered a baseball school? I know they have won several DC, but never a state title. I not sure if they ever made it to the state tournament. I know one of the best players to play in BC finished is high school baseball at Barbe. Barbe is definitely a baseball school.

Sorry, yes I did mean quiet. Lot's of excitement each week around BC, just didn't seem as much after this week. I'm excited for them and hoping for an undefeated regular season. I do not believe BC has ever done this, not even when they won a state championship in the 60's. I am not saying they are going to win a state championship this year, just a chance to be undefeated before post season begins.

Why did BC fans get so quite after this game?

Not sure I can jump on that BC bandwagon just yet. They have played 3 teams with a combined record of 3-7. Best of luck to Coach Smalley and his team, he will get the best out of them. It would be nice to see them playing for a district championship.

Tim Erickson is a great coach and would do well where ever he coaches. His basic rules are tough and everyone has to buy in, including parents. Which players have HF recruited?

Just to be clear, I'm not "y'all" as in being a Kountze fan. I'm from Orangefield, had 3 kids graduate from Orangefield, all 3 played sports at Orangefield. You spoke on the behalf of yourself, the coaches, the boys and the community of Orangefield, not sure why you felt the need to do so. As I stated, all that needed to be said was great job Bobcats, the rest of your comments is not Orangefield. Your son is a great player, let him be great on his on accord. James 4:10 "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up." Matthew 5:38 "You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and a tooth for tooth. But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn them the other cheek also."

So if you are not saying Kountze don't respect their opponents, than what are you saying. We play the the game the right way, we want our boys to understand compassion and empathy for their opponents. So you couldn't score a 100 points on your opponents, that means you show compassion and empathy. Who are you to PAST JUDGEMENT on these coaches and players. All you had to say was great job Bobcats, all the rest of that crap was ridiculous. #GodDontMakeMistakes

I'm not sure about Orangefield running 60% Power I. I believe the switched back and forth between Slot T and Wing T (there is a difference). The Slot-t is the south Texas version of the wing-t, where backs are much closer to LOS and they basically never pass. The wing-t is multiple and incorporates misdirection, option and attacks defense at all levels in the rushing and passing game and has motion.

I'm surprised Orangefield is not in the top 20. They are returning 8 starters from a good year last season.

I believe Peveto and Smalley are the only two Orangefield coaches that left on their own terms.

What's annoying is when the whole town gets tagged because of a few idiots.

His Freshman son 6'3" 198, probably would have been the starting QB if he got the job.

Not very much mentioned about HF basketball. Jackson Seastrunk is one of the most talented Jr's in southeast Texas.
