I saw the first quarter of Summer Creek and Georgetown in College Station a couple of weeks ago. College Station High's home side stands are probably a tad smaller than Nederland's, and the Georgetown fans were having trouble filling that side. I'm betting you'll be able to drive over and purchase a ticket at the gate on GT's side. I'll be putting my eggs in that basket at least. It's tough to get your hands on tickets being an out-of-towner.

My fault. The Legacy Sports link was the GCM coaches from the booth...a tad entertaining, but not very informative. Thanks for the KLVI link.

This thing is pretty impressive. I know Barbe uses one for their Christmas workouts.

Doesn't make it any less bush league. I understand yelling and barking at the other team as gamesmanship, but yelling at the fans is pointless. Dawson has better athletes than anyone Nederland has played. The better football team won the game in my opinion. However, punch Dawson in the mouth like Nederland did, and I think you can shake them up mentally.

GCM came to play tonight. They look like the better team here early.

It was great to see the Pirates start things off the right way for our district...a big congrats from Nederland. I was glad I could be there to witness history be made for Vidor, and I wasn't the only one as there was a lot of support from around the district. That being said, who will be back at Provost-Umphrey to see if the 'Dogs can keep the district rolling? I'll be there +4 Also, it should be noted that a group of us plan to attend the PNG game on Saturday so don't feel left out Indians  ;)

After re-watching the game from last week, I don't think Nederland came out flat...I think Ozen came out clicking. That being said, slow starts aren't a popular trend come playoff time. Someone once said though, "It ain't how you start, it's how you finish."
