Saw that myself. Very interesting post. I have a whole bunch of thoughts on that that I'll keep to myself. At the end of the day, she and her husband have options if it's that bad. -

The only stat that matters is that he's thrown well in the playoffs. 500-600 yards. Don't have exact numbers. He's always had a good arm and throws a pretty ball, but earlier had a tendency to throw off of his back foot. Our O line didn't do a great job of blocking for him at times and we also had problems with dropping the ball. All of that has changed since the playoffs started. The line is a different line. They have controlled the LOS scrimmage in every playoff game. They are very big and very mean, lol. But, no doubt, we are "give it to 4" first. What I see as the big game within the game is whether the Carthage front can stop the WOS line from controlling the LOS. I watched the PG game and they were having their way with Carthage until the scoop and score running right at them. That's something the Stangs do well. That could be a problem. PG had the game in control and were driving getting 5-10 yards per play til the fumble. They could've gone up 24-7. Looked to me like PG panicked after that and got away from what was working. Anyway, I think that could be a problem for the Dawgs. Now, I know some fan of the Dawgs is gonna come say we aren't the team that PG is, like they can possibly know that. For that, we don't have long before we get to see who's right. -

What a wonderful tribute to a great leader of young men of which I was once one. Great coach and even better person who left an undeniable legacy on the field, at the school and in the hearts of those under his leadership. If that bothers anyone here then I think they might need a character check. -

The smart play is certainly picking the Bulldogs. WOS is certainly the underdog, but the game is played on the field and something tells me these kids don't really care what the prognosticators are saying. They've been underdogs since this derby started. -

WOS is a different team since that game. -

One more Mustangs! Total domination tonight, score could've easily been 55-3. Defense and Offense played 4 quarters. This team amazes me. Biggest turnaround in WOS history! -
You're correct. One was certainly there, the other was there playing, I think. Both those coaches are glad to be where we are right now. They'd play Sinton in a pasture if they had to, I'm sure.

It wasn't said with the intent of having any relevance other than the fact it happened. It was meant "tongue n cheek". And so you know, my first response to you was a joke because I thought your reply to my original post was a joke, but I later saw that it wasnt.
-
Hmmmm, so what's that got to do with it? We did still lose there in 2005... which happens to also be the only semifinal we've lost. Who cares if they were alive? It's an historical fact. I think you missed the intent of my original post. And for the record, I could care less where we play them.
-
We improve our future by remembering our mistakes of the past... you should know this...😉
-
Other than the fact we lost the 2005 semifinal there.

They run and throw pretty good with a stud RB. Going to have to play 4 qtrs.

Wow, just wow... as bad a first half as you could have in a 4th round game... and takes home a 15 point win. Good job everyone. Adjustments made. I tell ya what, those kids got some fight in them. And they will play their hearts out for their coach. Much respect. -
