  1. oooooooohhh... nice comeback! You really got him on that one.
  2. Knee, ankle, wrist or elbow?
  3. You know I'm in!!!!
  4. At WO-S it's 3 on 3... the kids go nuts over it. It really gets them fired up.
  5. It's really hard to compare the 80's with today. Along with the fact that kids are naturally bigger and faster, you have other factors that really didn't play into it as much in the 80's like steroids. Don't kid yourself folks, this is a much bigger problem than people will want to admit. Steroid use is a big thing now with high school kids. Now this is not intended to point fingers at any team in particular, but it is an undeniable factor.
  6. OK... the votes are REALLY 15 votes to 19 for WO-S. But Jody, tell the truth, you've been calling all BH fans you know to come on here and vote for BH, haven't you? They jumped by 8 since last night. I know this is your doing...
  7. This IS going to be a game scrimmage. It will be a full 4 quarter game. The only difference will be that there will be no returns on kick offs and punts. They will be dead where the ball is fielded. It will be as close to a real game as it gets. Hooks believes in these type scrimmages because it not only gets your players into game shape, but it gives you a 12 game season instead of 10 which is valuable around playoff time. By the way, I accidently voted for BH so you actually only have 6 votes. As for the game, I really don't know what BH has, but I can say that WO-S will be tough. They will be better up front on both lines. The O-line will be experienced and BIG as will the D-line. We should be able to compete...
  8. I think I remember him from when Jaspers 8th grade team played WO-S a couple of years ago. He's a tall kid. They didn't thow any so I don't know about his arm, but I remember he's pretty athletic.
  9. I don't remember this Hart kid. What class is the Ellis kid in?
  10. WO-S will have some size this year as well. Jon sturlese has gone from 230 to about 280. Tim Matherne is about 260. We will have size. The skill people, well, they are typical WO-S skill people. 8)
  11. Wells is a good player, but Earl is definitely the best corner in this area, maybe in the state. He will not play offense nearly as much as defense. He will play some offense, but will not come off the field on defense. He is a true "lock down" corner. Teams will not make a living throwing his way. We haven't had many as good as Earl. He reminds me a lot of Jermaine Hope, just bigger.
  12. "It starts with the lights, oh so bright and oh so high above the green grass"... that's the gayest thing I've heard since.... well... kickers last post.
  13. Thank God... for a second there, I thought you came up with that. LOL
  14. .... thats.......... EXTREMELY GAY!!!
  15. I've been told the same thing coming from the UT camp. They've also thrown around the idea of putting him back there. I doubt it will happen, but it's a testament to his ability.
  16. Why would Beasley be any more ridiculous than D. Long?
  17. Dobie's uni's are EXACTLY like UT's. I think that's kind of lame...
  18. No offense, but those would probably be on my least favorite list. I like Jacksonville's helmets.
