They should... I've been on that field many times over the last several years. It has never gotten any better. That WOS/Silsbee game back in 2009 literally ruined that field. It has never recovered.

I said "might", they are why. They return 16 from a 12-1 team. BC is a rival, you never know. Both will be good match ups.

I've been involved in some of these two groups (WOS and BC seniors) battles. People under estimate the Cardinals I think.

I hope you aren't including me saying I think Silsbee will go 6-4 or 5-5 as a "hater". That's my honest assessment knowing what they lost and who they will be playing. I DO think they will get in and once the playoffs start, everyone is 0-0. With talent and a line with 10 games under their belt, who knows. Unless they are just not very good up front, but at this point we don't know if it's inexperience or lack of talent. The season will say a lot and I'll get to see them first hand week 4.

You bet, and I dang sure wouldn't be predicting beating a defending state champion just because I got two transfers with no offensive line...

BC will beat Silsbee like they stole something.

Like I said before the season, 6-4 at best, probably 5-5. All the talent can't overcome the loss of an entire offensive line.

I knew this was going to come up at some point. It is way earlier than I expected. Let's see how the season plays out then we will have something to talk about. Right now, we don't know if WOS is that good or Ned has a few more issues than usual. I will say this from watching 2 scrimmages and this first game. If you are going to beat WOS you dang sure better have a passing game because you will not make a living running it (and passing will be a chore too).

Silsbee will struggle to start the season, IMO. Maybe by midseason when the line starts to come around, but I believe they will end up around 6-4.

OK sorry, I thought I read 1. That's a really tall order, if you had 1 they would have a leader at least. That's not something to blow off. I don't care what they have behind them. It's won in the trenches. A bad first outing against another opponent is really expected in a situation like that.

On the O-line
