  1. well you are very stupid. bc beat kelly 43 to 28... vidor beat kelly 42 to 21. and didnt vidor crush west orange in a scrimmage. and i mean like completely dominated by 5 td's to wos's zero! if you want to go by statistics then atleast pick a subject you know something about. LOL... Wow! Sometimes irony is a beautiful thing. The WOS/Vidor score was 28-21. Seems like you should be talking to yourself... :
  2. this must have started after giving up 28 to kelly. you do understand the point of a defense? I thought the point of defense was to keep the other team from scoring. How many first downs did ya'll have against Silsbee? His post was in response to you saing that BC's defense was the "real deal". What does Silsbee's defense have to do with it? LOL
  3. rebelwhosleepswith2dogs, you must have enjoyed the Silsbee game. i prefer a blow-out win. to the Hamshire-Fannett team. i will bet that the halls of your school are full of good athletes who dont have the "manhood" to commit to the work it takes to be a football player. I will bet you have no clue what you're talking about since he is a WOS fan... Rebel is not a WOS fan.
  4. I think that Jasper's new coach will come out with a few new wrinkles and surprises like he did against WOS which will will set up the points they need to push them over the top.
  5. If anyone would like text updates, PM me your number. ;D
  6. We are doing very well, bro. Thanks for asking. How are you and yours? Also, thanks for the advice you gave your son. I could probably go about 1- 10 second round...LOL Ha All is well over and only have on left in the crib. One is a junior at Lamar and other one playing football at Etbu. Tell your boy that about time to start pumping iron like Dad. Take care and will catch up with you in the playoffs. Still hoping we get there, if we do, that sounds good! ;D

  8. Yes..... I knew that, sooner or later, your constant rant to try and down play anything WOS does would lead you to making this statement. Now... take this statement and apply it to every win BC has this year (I throw out the HJ game because a wet field tends to be an equalizer)... it really isn't that im trying to down play everything WOS does... they are a good football team... it's just i get tired of seeing posts all about how WOS will roll in the district and go into the playoffs and blah blah blah, you know the rest of the story... seems that they just over look every team they play except for silsbee and expect to go undefeated in district every year and when they dont a few fans make excuses for the loss before they say great job on the win... but when WOS beat HF people said they turned around which is a ridiculous statement... you cant say your team is turned around on someone thats not a threat... not trying to take the win away from them or anything, but you cant just say your going to roll over everyone now that you had a big number on the score board vs a down team... I don't disagree with what you are saying with regard to the HF game. I just find it a little humorous that you can see the irony in someone thinking things have turned around against HF, but you can't seem to see it when the same is said about BC's wins. It's the same thing, isn't it? Aren't all but one of BC's wins against teams that are "down", except HJ?
  9. I knew this was coming and I agree. It's good we got out and played well last night, but everyone has played well against HF. This is a tough year for them. We need to do the same thing next week then we will see where we are at. I also don't think you can guage a bunch off of the BC/Silsbee game either. That was a very emotional game last week for Silsbee and they are ALWAYS prone to have the "head scratcher", even though I've been told by a person close to the program this would not happen, I believe it almost did... an BC vs HJ wasnt an emotional game for BC that doesnt make sense to say they had an emotional game when BC had just a much of one as they did OK... I did not know that HJ and BC were such huge rivals.

  11. lol i think you have me mistaken for Coop...? Actually, I think you are coop's understudy...LOL
  12. rushing passing total points Orangefield 294 37 331 21 HJ 211 95 306 28 Last night's game. How about the WOS game?
  13. What's going on with this thread? I made a post earlier on this and it is no longer here... >
  14. Depends on which Silsbee team shows up.
  15. It's going to depend on which WOS team shows up. BC played well against a couple of tough opponents back to back. If we don't get off of the bus, we could be in trouble.

  17. WOS looked good, but you have to keep in perspective who we were playing. Hopefully, we will come out next week and look just as good against BC. I did not expoect their game with Silsbee to be so close. We cannot have any let downs from here on out. We must get rolling and keep the momentum. HF, you guys played hard. Hang in there, there is a silver lining in there somewhere. One thing about losing so many kids to injury and what not, your younger kids are getting valuable experience that will be key next year.
  18. I told Shug about it last year. You need me to do it, just say the word. I know the people to contact and everything...
  19. I wouldn't be surprised to see WOS do that....they like to run up the score.....They will then have a district title in mind after they beat the last place team.....IMO I wouldn't run up the score just "win" and get your young players some experience..... Make sure to clarify the difference between running up the score and one team not being able to stop the other. If the score shows at the end 60-6 or something like this, people don't need to run here and bash something they know no details of. As I've always said, I'm from HF, and I know that WOS will most likely win this game and I expect them to. I just don't want to hear people run over here start crying because "they ran up the score". If you shoot yourself in the foot and the other team capitalizes on your mistake, that's not running up the score, that's just good football. If a team is running iso and traps after getting up a certain amount of points and is still scoring on those base plays, that is not running up the score, that is saying they want the defense to stop them. Running up the score would be being up 50-0 and going five wide with all your starters in and throwing hail mary's and running reverses. If WOS gets up in a lopsided way, I don't look for the starters to stay in, and I look for all their guys to get playing time. If this is the case and HF just can't stop them, it's not running it up, it's football and it happens. So to HF, just go out there and play as hard as you can, and you never know what could happen on any given friday night. Good luck. That's probably about the best, non-homer, Un cry baby, football smart, posts I've seen in a long time. Kuddo's to you, sir.
  20. So how do you determine if the school should or shouldn't be involved? In this case the parents are very involved. Are you wanting the school to discipline over the parents? If not where do you draw the line. We can't have it both ways. You can't have the school determine if they are the only authority or not, or if the parent isn't making the right choice for the child. I have to say I disagree with what you are saying. The school is responsible for discipline at school and at school functions and or events not what happens at home or away from campus on the weekends. Now code of conduct policies I do understand. However, I also believe in the fact that the government already has too much power. Less is more. TD.....I'm 100% in agreement! The schools job ends when the school bell rings! If the parents are not involved, thats sad, but none of the schools business! Agreed
  21. speveto, you dawg!!! I knew it was someone on the WOS side because I bought 6 (by 5 get 6, I'm always a sucker for a bargain... ;D) of them and I missed it by 2!!! My last numbers were 56 and the winning last 2 numbers were 58. You must have walked in the gate right behind me!!
  22. This does not apply with respect to why the suspension was made.
  23. I don't think these scores should be posted I'm going to assume b your "smiley" that you are just kidding about that. There are several lopsided scores posted on this thread. Hornsfan86 will probably agree with me on this, but the 7th grade score doesn't really represent the way the game went. HF really fought hard and moved the ball on us. They threw the ball well, I thought. They just had a couple of picks for TD's that made the game look worse than it was, but they had a couple of drives deep in our territory where an INT saved us. I thought they were probably the best team we've seen yet. Sometimes games can just get away from you when you have a few turnovers and that's what happened. The same thing with the 8th grade. The defense scored twice in the first half. We had 22 points and had only ran 6 offensive plays, HF would move the ball downfield then turn it over. I thought both 7th and 8th grade teams for HF have potential. Just need to stop the turnovers.
  24. "B" team: WOS 7th- 8 HF 7th- 0 "A" Teams: WOS 7th- 53 HF- 0 WOS 8th- 54 HF- 12
  25. I hope this isn't true. I can't see us fully utilizing our skill guys if we are running out the I 70% of the time. On the other hand, I guess they are not being utilized if they can't catch the ball either... I don't think completely changing the offense is necessary, just time for some kids to step up.
