Yall still can't answer about how yall really think people are going to come to BMT. Yall wana throw shade at me for posting about incorrect info, but yet you straight up on here claiming with all your heart that BISD pays just as well as Houston area lmfao when that aint even close to being true. -

Port Arthur was brought into the conversation because you guys refuse to accept the facts about people not wanting to move to BMT to be coaches when they are going to take a pay cut. Unless I'm just not understanding that you think coaches from PA or PNG or Silsbee or any other recently successful school are going to be coming to BMT? You guys want complete overhauls of the coaching staff. It's just not reality. Not with things set up the way they are. Why would anyone come to BMT from any of those schools for the same or maybe very little more money, sometimes less.? -

Well that's why these clowns even brought up PA... because I pointed out the TRUTH about salaries and coaching stipends in the Houston area compared to BMT. They want and expect good football coaches to just up and move to BMT and take a massive pay cut and a massive drop in facilities, athletes, and resources.... it's just not reality and they can't accept it. So they brought up PA. -

The only false reasoning I've done is incorrectly say PA has struggled in the playoffs... which I then corrected pretty quickly lol -

I don't necessarily keep up with the records to the point I can spit out records over the years like from the back of my hand lol. But yeah I keep up with the coaches because I know and talk to a lot of them.... and this is all their words. Everything I'm saying is things I've heard from the mouths of coaches at BMT schools AND the mouths of coaches who have played against BMT schools...... even the competition knows what the real deal is. Why can't BMT people accept the truth? -

They can't accept that Coaching isn't the problem, or isn't the "only" problem. It's a failure by the entire district and football village and they can't accept that because they must have been playing some role in it and it's too personal for them. -

Are we pretending like BISD is a good school district?? They just recently turned the convo to PA. They had to. I've been pointing out how firing the AD won't do anything if they don't also fire the SI and the HS admin. The AD isn't the one who keeps kids from being in the athletics periods. The AD isn't the one who sets the salaries and stipends (I'm pretty sure - I may be wrong about the stipends). The AD isn't the reason the schools have some of the worst facilities on campus to practice with every day in the whole state. Get back to the OG beef y'all have with me. -

Hey well there ya go. I guess I was wrong. I can admit it. Even still, these guys are trying to use PA as a model of success against BMT schools. My points still stand about why BMT is struggling vs the schools they had to play in 6A. Now that they are in 5A, lets see. If things are still abysmal, then maybe they have valid points. But they hate they fact I add in how poor the culture of the city and schools are. If they weren't terrible, people wouldn't be pulling their kids out and moving out of BMT by the droves every year lol. Those things matter for football success. They just don't wana hear it. Their whole family been in BMT they whole lives evidently lol it's personal to them. Well, someone has to take the blame for all the kids and their discipline problems and academic struggles. BMT is rife with them on a scale that isn't normal. Truth hurts. -

I'll admit I forgot they finally won a playoff game last year. High school sports records aren't something I keep readily available as a grown man, but hey, you do you. I'm impressed by how much you care about high school. By the way, where did the OC for PA coach at before he went to PA and PA finally won a playoff game? Oh that's right... he was the HC at United lmfao yall are hilarious up in here man -

They're in 5A. Last time United was 5A they made the playoffs 2 years straight. If the BMT schools are successful again in 5A you clowns deserve to give a thousand apologies to all the coaches you think you know more than 😂 -

Most Houston area districts actually pay 1st year teachers around 60k+, and football stipends are 10k or more in most places, and then add on top of the other sports they coach, and yes, they do make that much money. HISD & pretty much every surrounding suburb starts almost 10k more just in teaching salaries than BISD my friend. These are facts. Someone with a few years experience can go make like 65k just teaching salary in many of these districts. -

Lol that's one coach - the Head Coach. And the pay definitely isn't on par with the rest of state bro. Not when you're trying to get people to relocate to BMT. Assistant Coaches in the Houston area, which is a ton of schools, make on average in the 80s. Nobody is taking a 20k pay cut or more to come to BMT. You're delusional if you think so. -

Lol then you better fire the Superintendent and the admin at the school too, and raise the salaries & stipends in BISD. Doing everything you said solves nothing. Nobody wants to move to Beaumont. It's a trash can city. Also, good luck firing an Athletic Director who has seen 4 teams play in basketball State Championships over 3 years. For people who claim to be "in the know", y'all have no clue about how the teaching and coaching process works. -

Lol I'd pump the brakes a little. United won 2 games. Both teams are full of resilient kids - it takes that kind of kid to not quit when you're losing over and over again. The 2 schools are almost the exact same. Take away about 200 white kids and it's the literal exact same school. The community acts like there is some great divide or difference between the 2. There isn't. -

Yikes. Never thought i would see this day, but United might really get this dub. Good for them. The group that are Seniors right now faced so much adversity as Freshman, to get a win vs their hometown rival would be a really great experience. -
So what was the specific rule violation? Because Kelly kids are being coached by their club coaches at both high school and club in soccer and baseball. I don't know any of the TAAPS rules.
-
bro you don't know anything.... Weston Davis is at United also losing a ton of football games and he's one of the most highly recruited and rated players in the entire country. Stop.
-
That must not apply to soccer. Because the last few coaches there have all coached their players in club soccer at Dynamo and now Albion. Hmmmm???

United made the playoffs 2 years in a row under Graham in 5A. Yall ran him out. The BMT schools can't compete in 6A anymore. Those schools they have to play are growing and growing in attendance & talent pool. The culture at WB is particularly poor. It takes more than just coaching at a school to be successful. It takes an admin that is aligned with athletics. It takes an admin that is willing to actually discipline kids. That's on more of BISD as a whole though. So, yes, when you apply the fact that things at BMT schools are as bad as they are to the addition of having to play those growing power houses..... it makes sense. You asked for it to make sense. Those communities are on completely different trajectories than BMT that they have to play. The football programs haven't recovered from COVID either. The schools haven't recovered from it. They went virtual and have had to play catch up in integrity and numbers for football ever sense. United had like 13 freshman football players during the COVID year. Come on man. Those kids are Seniors right now. WB had more during COVID, but the culture of the school took a huge nose-dive from going virtual and then back. I know other schools dealt with some of the same things, but again, BMT was already struggling more than those places. It's riddled with poverty and crime on a pretty alarming scale. It's all a part of the village, man. -

They have inner city facilities, inner city resources, inner city demographics.... and every single surrounding community is benefiting because middle class families are taking their kids out of the BISD more and more by the year. -

Yes, it is. It absolutely is. You ever stepped foot in there? You seen the kids that walk around? You seen where they live? How much money their parents make on average? It's inner city af. -

The best coaches in the state would struggle to be successful in BISD right now playing those teams they have to play. Yall just can't accept reality. So many middle class families have moved TF out of Beaumont. The talent pool is not what it used to be. Sure, there are SOME talented kids. There will still be D1 talent, but it's top heavy, and not much in between. Plus, you guys are not comparing it to the talent they have to play against. If you take a kid from Beaumont and a kid from Atascocita and they are really close athletically to start, that Atascocita kid is 9 times out of 10 going to by the end of this Freshman year be a much better football player. They have equipment, facilities, and resources that produce results. These things matter so much. Why do you think it's so rare to see inner city schools that are good at football? You've got kids in Beaumont who are generationally stuck in Beaumont and poverty. Those kids will almost always get passed up by middle class suburban kids specifically in the sport of football because it's so detail and technically orientated. Beaumont people can not accept that the city and its culture is trash and that product shows itself in football more than any other sport. Big facts. Big truth.
