The entire district is down and has been with the exception of Lumberton the past couple years and Vidor and LCM the year or two before that. If BC wants a good measuring stick.... make the playoffs and beat a team from district 9.

There is a parking lot on the scoreboard side of the stadium and in front of the high school **there is construction going on in front of the school. May want to get there a few minutes early.

Goodness... BC is amazing. BC will beat everyone. BC is one of if the not the best in the SETX. BC will compete for a state championship. BC is the standard.

Comparing those schools to Vidor is like comparing lamb and tuna fish lol. Vidor could lose every game by 30+ points but as long as little Johnny is having fun then all is well. Vidor will never fire a coach because of his record. The administration does not care about wins and losses.

Mathews and Dubois are both great guys. The majority of the kids like them. The majority of the parents like them. BUT sooner or later you have to hire someone that has a new offensive and defensive vison and until that person is hired Vidor will continue the downhill slide. Have to hire someone to revamp summer workouts. Kids participating in 7 on 7... and so on. **Personally, I think parents are ready to buy into someone knew... well beyond ready.

Is either bashing a coach? Also, posting on a public forum is a good way to see if others are having the same problems/issues. If others are having the same problems/issues, then it may be time to schedule a meeting about said problems/issues. If it seems to be isolated to one person, then said person to needs to step back to see if there is a real issue or are they just upset for one reason or another.

Over half of the post on this website are from people venting frustrations about losing a game, coaching decisions, etc., but moving forward everyone should not vent frustrations about coaches. Got it

Nope. I like what I do. *Doesn't take much common sense to realize that your DBs are young/inexperienced and cannot hang with bigger/faster WRs and that you LBs do not have the sideline to sideline speed to cover TEs and backs out of the backfield.

Vidor has taken one dimensional to whole new level. Until the offense changes and adds new wrinkles, elements, Vidor will continue to be below mediocre. On the defensive side of the ball with most offenses playing from shotgun, the LBs and DBs need to play assignment football... cover 2, cover 3, and mix in cover 1 when teams get inside the redzone.

When Mathews was HC he pretty much told the DC what to defense to run and I suspect the same is going on now. Watch the secondary, they play man coverage 7+ yards off their man. In my older, cripple age, I could get out there and catch passes with that kind of cushion.

The HC handcuffs the DC. Can’t run the defense he wants. Offensively… we’re the laughing stock of football. Get behind the sticks or 1 score and the odds of us catching up are slim to none.

Will be an embarrassing season, but the players were all smiles for pics for mommy and daddy. Need an offensive and defensive overhaul and that will start with the HC, but till people start to voice their displeasure… NOTHING will happen.
