Did you think Lumberton would win district 2 straight times? I do think with the athletes reyes had those 3 years fit his players. Now he goes to Palestine with faster athletes, better skill players and can spread the defense out. Palestine didn’t throw the ball to those last couple of years

Tough tough district but overall talent year n and year out better at Palestine. He ran from having to grind and actually coaching his tail off.

Seems like reyes left because he knew he had to really coach hard with Lumberton losing the most talent it had in a 3 year span ever. Seems like he ran because it was about to get tough

And I read that they lost 33 seniors so I think a lot of teams losing that many will have some ups and downs and it doesn’t matter who the head coach is in that situation

District has always been weak but 3 years ago they got 3rd and they had really good talent

Well you said if they have a couple of bad games, last year they started off 0-3 on the season.

What was Lumberton’s record the first 3 games last year ?

No way they should let the Basketball coach be AD and a guy that has never called plays to lead a program to be a head football coach. They had some descent applicants that were proven.

A guy that has experience as a head coach and not let the AD be the Head Boys Basketball Coach.

Great hire for Coach Mitchell, Coach Randall did a great job at BC made tons of history. I know Mitchell’s kids will graduate in 3 years so maybe it’s Randalls job when Mitchell leaves in 3 years??? Homerun hire for the Raiders.

that typically what happens when you get a better job offer so maybe he got one. Kinda like how somebody ran from their program cause it was tanking once Harley’s talent ran out.

Wos was pretty good, Lcm had 2nd most talented player in district and jasper had the 2nd best overall athlete in district .

Well Silsbee has way more talent, in awful district?? Jasper, wos, lcm, Silsbee, vidor had more talent than BC.. I thought this was his best coaching job he’s done at BC and there is a reason why he got coach of the year in the district.

He was at BC when has BC ever been been good at b-ball till he got there?

Omar has never been a head coach before right? This is a job that’s a good one and a guy with head coaching experience needs to get this job I’d say English, Thomas, Joubert
