last i heard yes. They'll run him until he gets hurt like last year. Terrible offensive fit for him.
-
yep, Sophomore starter at LB transferred at Christmas to Columbus. Kid's dad was one of the coaches that left at the end of this past school year.
-
If/when the Sealy starting QB goes down, Finley's Sophomore son gets the ball. That's if he doesn't have a concussion from headhunting at the safety spot.
-
Sealy doesn’t have a RB, an OL, or team speed. Their coaching staff had a lot of turnover. Falling backwards into the playoffs last year bought Finley at least 2 more years. He was out if he didn’t make it. Team discipline is not important with this staff. Sealy won’t keep it remotely close against Bellville.

I agree. Sealy won’t have the horses next year to compete. Need some kids at both schools to graduate.
-
District 11 will exchange kolaches at midfield before kickoffs! And a reminder, that Bellville freshman team has lost to Sealy every year of their football career so far.
-
They only beat Sealy 69-0. Bet there isn’t a lot of chirping from the Silsbee players tonight.

Go Bulls.

No. Sealy’s coach finally realized 2 games before the end of the season that his best player was the big senior QB pounding the ball. The starting QB, WR1, and best defensive player were all out against both Bellville and Silsbee when they played. After seeing both teams in person, I think Bellville will win this. I will discount that I watched Silsbee in the rain against Sealy and without Miller most of that game. Good luck to both teams, but I’ll pull for the Austin County boys.

That’s like saying Sealy could have beat everyone in your District but Silsbee last night. I’m not saying that as a fact. It’s subjective. -

Everyone over rates their own district. Try to at least be objective, sir. -

they beat Sealy 69-0. That same team that gave Silsbee all they wanted last night. Dont get me wrong, Silsbee is a great team. Dont discount Bellville just because of the District they play in. -

yall realize that Bellville has scored almost 100 more points than Silsbee and given up about 100 less points? Bellville is not a ho hum team. They have absolutely embarrassed teams this season. -

Bellville's line has some size to it. 1 senior, great (sarcasm). -

8 seconds in. wow. -
I think they tried to let the kids play before impacting the game with dead ball penalties. I respect that, too. I agree that they should have warned everyone after it escalated, started penalizing the player starting each instance, and ultimately tossing the ones that can’t act correctly. You would think in a win or go home scenario, the kids could shut up and just play. Sealy’s dead ball foul on Silsbee’s final drive killed their chances (remote as they were).

Was at the game in the rain last night. Silsbee wins that game by a big margin on a dry track. Sealy’s offense isn’t going to break any speed limits or put up a bunch of points on a good team. I was surprised by the trouble Silsbee had coming out of halftime with the additional tackle on the line by Sealy for a while. The refs did a pretty good job of trying to keep the kids in check. Lots of warnings before starting to throw flags. Then offsetting penalties, and then finally catching the blatant stuff. Sadly, neither team put on a great display of sportsmanship. Sealy has a few hot heads that will get involved in the trash and has largely played undisciplined all year under this new head coach. But besides LaMarque, Silsbee certainly did the most trash talk, standing over players after the hit and talking, and getting into players’ faces that I have seen this season. It was very close to a fight when 3 Silsbee defenders went into the Sealy sideline at the end of a play with a late hit called in the 4th quarter. I have always told my son to let your play speak for itself. My point in saying that is Silsbee is a good enough team to go far in these playoffs but as others have said, that type of extra stuff could cost them in a tight game. Good luck to Silsbee moving forward and hopefully the players injured last night are able to go next week
