  1. Scales was fouled with 5 seconds to go in regulation, game tied at 39. Missed both. Gonzales and Agerton #2 each had open looks at rebound putbacks under the rim but both missed.
  2. Yes, those 3 starters as well as 3 guys (only Rawls got regular minutes) from the bench. So only 4 out of the 10 players that were on the varsity roster through the district schedule will be returning. Scales, Thomas, and Manning that were Sophomores and Rogers that was the only Junior.
  3. That was the game in a nutshell IMO. Kountze was allowed to be so much more physical on Orangefield’s ball handlers, and especially so with Ghost, reaching and hand checking all the way down the court, getting into his body, and grabbing and holding him on every inbounds play. Whereas Sells lived at the line down the stretch. Several weak calls in the second half and OF wasn’t getting that same whistle.
  4. I keep checking back on this thread to see if AAW posted the final stats so I could see what that free throw disparity was.
  5. Orangefield 72-41 Final
  6. This game tipped at 5:45. Orangefield leads 40-23 at the half.
  7. 17-5 Orangefield after 1. Jaden Scales just broke the 1000 point mark near the end of the quarter.
  8. A very chippy game ends in a 69-39 Orangefield victory. #4 Zane Wrinkle did not play.
  9. OF 29 - Buna 12 Halftime
  10. It will be on the NFHS network if you are a subscriber. [Hidden Content]
  11. Technical was on Scales for saying something I think. But it could have been a delay tech since they received a warning for it previously. I wasn’t paying enough attention to know if it had anything to do with the ball after the take foul on Manning.
