  1. Thanks Panama and good job to the Ganders! It appears that LP has two decent RBs with Webb and Perkins (once he is ready to play).
  2. Panama - how did that RB from Laporte (Perkins) do tonight? Was he a little rusty?
  3. Probably the best Beaumont Bowl in years. Everyone there got their money's worth. Great job to both teams!
  4. I saw this one coming from a mile away! Great job Rebels! This is one of the few predictions that I got right this week. As I stated earlier in the week, I believe that this Evadale team is going to make a lot of noise in 1A this year.
  5. This was one of the biggest shockers of the night! Very few people (including me) saw this coming after the way Diboll played against K-ville last week. Good job Diboll.
  6. have y'all even seen Ennis. or even a team of that caliber ever??? what 4 time state champs, 3 sense 2000 and state finalist. My guess would be NO!!!! Yes we had a meltdown in one quarter (40+ in the 2nd) but those coogs are mad and ready to knock the piss out of someone. My guess is the Indian will not be doing many dances on Friday night...Crosby by 14 Actually, I think the Indian had to soak his feet in Epson salt and warm water after he got home.
  7. I agree BC. He seems to be an all around great guy with good character.
  8. Mitch and the Hornets will run wild at home. Hardin by at least 2 TD's
  9. Evadale has a good group of kids this year and they are well-coached. I really look for them to make some noise in 1-A. Evadale by 8
  10. West Brook @ Central Jasper @ Kirbyville Ozen @ Memorial Bridge City @ Kountze Crosby @ Port Neches Groves East Chambers @ Newton Danbury @ Anahuac Evadale @ Deweyville Friendswood @ Dayton Liberty @ Hamshire Fannett Lumberston @ Barbers Hill Silsbee @ Diboll Vidor @ Houston ST Thomas West Orange @ Little Cypress Mauriceville West Sabine @ Hemphill Woodville @ Hardin Jefferson Trinity @ Warren San Augustine @ Arp Tarkington @ Hardin Bellville @ Livingston
  11. The Diboll game will not be a test for Johnson & the Tigers IMO, but the next 4 games will be starting with a trip to Lumberton on the 11th.
  12. I gotta go with Silsbee. The QB Johnson is a hoss (just like his father was when he played for Buna).
  13. I think Coop could make some decent money on the side as a fortune teller. This prediction was a bulls eye!
  14. Great assessment Manster and an excellent first post. I am not from PN-G, but even I am impressed with you guys and your "Honor, Pride, and Tradition" - even during bad seasons. I was not at your game on Friday, but I can imagine that those young men ran onto the field more proud than cocky. Proud to have a very nice, new stadium. Proud to have a new coach with what appears to be a great attitude. And proud to see the home side of the stands full of fans who feel the same way that they do. Good luck to you guys this season.
  15. Great job Buna! I picked you guys to win by a couple of TD's, but it looks like you totally dominated this game. Excellent way to kick off the new season.
  16. Yes they removed the endzone seat. We only played a couple games last year at home, with the first game having the most people. The first sell out will probably be the MCM game this year. Thanks and Good luck to you guys tonight
  17. Yep, the school board voted 7 - 0 to fire the coaches tonight. They also announced the hiring of the former coach at DeSoto to take over the program as the interim head coach. [Hidden Content]
  18. Bulldawg, you had better like playing on mud this week. Coop said in another post that 2.29" fell over in WO today and more rain is expected on Friday before kick off.
